Bought this speaker for my 11yr old son. He loves it and has used it everyday. He especially likes that it is water proof and brings it in the shower with him. I can say he now takes more showers which was hard to get him to do.

I bought the speaker maybe 2 months ago and it's still going strong. Build quality is average, but the sound is really why I got it (which is pretty good for such a little device). However, mine has a weird little glitch where every a new song starts it won't play the first couple of notes or words of it, but afterwards it makes an audible clicking/crackle sound and then song will continue. Don't even try to contact the company directly the people who actually make the speaker (Altec Lansing) because they're not going to respond back. My first one wouldn't charge so I had to return it with Best Buy which was great... Except I got it for sale price and somehow the sale then jumped in price not even a couple days later and I had to pay an extra $10 when I returned the item (even though I got the item when it was on sale for $9.99). 20 bucks I spent on this speaker it is not worth $40... for twenty bucks I guess that's fair because it has a lot of bass and I use it in the shower so I make use the waterproofing (put it on a shelf or something not in contact with water directly as instructions say for "best possible outcome"... Can handle steam and being dropped though). But anything higher than twenty bucks is ridiculous don't do it... Wait for a sale! Because it will go on sale!

I really like the size and the build quality, however I think the sound quality is decent for what it is, don't expect it to be home theater quality and you won't be disappointed. Setup is easy however, when you want to pair with the different device, you have to disconnect from the previous device first. I found that a bit cumbersome. I really like that you can pair 2 of them together and get that stereo effect!

My kid loves it. Loud enough for him and his friends. Good battery life, he loves the size and clip.
