Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this speaker in December 2019 because I felt Altec had a good reputation for excellent quality speakers. It worked well until about 8 months later. The speaker stopped holding the charge beyond 3 days of no usage. I made sure it was not connected to any unit and powered off. I contacted Altec for warranty service and they kept telling me it should work and to change out the charging outlet and cord. Still would not hold the charge. I am disappointed with this item and will not be purchasing any more Altec products.

Super annoying startup announcement
