Such a good quality of sound in this price was not expected! I love these speakers already. Woofers are working well. Light weight and portable! I play them all day and yet did not charge them for 3 days! They may be good for 3 days more i feel!

To say this speaker has grown on me and has exceeded my expectations is an understatement. I currently have a JBL flip 6 and by all means it's a much better speaker overall as far as loudness and bass is concerned. But thats comparing apples to oranges. For a $40-50 speaker this thing is super crisp sounding. It's not extremely loud or bass heavy but the bass is definitely still there and the mids and highs are actually pretty solid. In the price range I think this speaker is unmatched. I hope Altec continues to make cylinder style speakers in the future with even higher quality!

This little speaker has amazing sound! It is super easy to connect by bluetooth. It charges quickly and the charge lasts a long time. The lights are a fun touch as well. I'm super happy with this speaker!

Very nice, for a small compact portable speaker, it has great sound quality, it's light and very convenient. Altec-Lansing had a good reputation back in the 70's and it's still making quality speakers 50 yrs later.

I really like how much sound and volume comes from such a small speaker on this. The button placement is great, and I really like how easy it is to hook to a backpack or mount on a tripod or stand. I look forward to buying more to try out the feature where they can link together.

im a big fan of JBL, but holy crap its amazing that only altec lancing can take 12 watts and make it sound like 20 watts, it has bass decent sized radiators and boy it makes a decent amount of bass, mind you its not as booming lets say like a flip 6, but it sounds like Altec Lancing is going for a more balanced sound than JBL, the sound is crystal clear sound, you can hear every instrument and other little details, and has good separation between bass and treble, so if your on a budget the hydromotion 2.0 is half the price of other speakers in its class and almost double the battery life, at half volume its loud, I got close to the 16 hours that the manufacturer claims, over 14, but that could be because sometimes i crank it 60 percent, 50 percent im sure its possible to get 16 hours. 50 bucks out the door im sure you wont be disappointed.

This thing is tiny, powerful, and portable! And I love that it’s everything proof this is perfect for me. The DJ didn’t show up for the homecoming parade this weekend until the last minute and this little thing performed very decently for our open space like a parade float. The audio mix of the music is pretty dope. It’s very balanced not too much bass or trouble in the mix for a tiny speaker. I am a music head so I need to hear all of my instruments and I need to hear all the parts especially when my music of choice is 80s rock and I enjoy listening to Bohemian Rhapsody. I love the wrist strap that comes with it that allows it to become a mini “boom box” for me for all you 80s babies out there. This does exactly what it was designed to do be portable lightweight and have a great sound and it does exactly that. Oh, and it paired immediately I do have iOS 18.1 beta and it paired with no problem.

One of the best bluetooth speakers I've used for such an affordable price! I could hear this bad boy all the way in the driveway. My mother uses it when outside on the deck, so naturally, she browses Facebook. I kept looking around while I played with my dog in the yard if anyone walked up and talked to her xD It's light, has an LED strip for late evening or nighttime enjoyment. This thing is pretty loud, and clear as whistle while listening to most music or media in general.

My son loves music but is a typical teenage boy and hard on his things. I love that this is “everything proof!” It has good sound and plays for a long time off a charge. Easy to pair to devises. So far, very happy with this purchase!

Great speaker! The soundis good and it's very easy to carry around. The lights make it fun to use after dark. It connects easily and consistently and will stay connected anywhere in my house, so it's got good range.

Wow! I am so impressed with this speaker. I’m a mother of 2 toddlers who love music and love to go hiking with me but all and I mean ALL the speakers I owned are broken or seriously damaged. After a long research I decided to purchase this speaker and I’m impressed! The battery lasts long enough, the bass is great and very powerful, and more than anything it is toddler-proof. My 2 year old dropped a few times already and I can definitely tell why is it is EVERYTHING PROOF. Love it! Buy it!
