A must have for any music lover who loves the outdoors. Rugged, waterproof and 40-50 hours of play back on one charge...and it floats. I love that it has a built-in charging port to use it's huge internal battery and also charge my device. And I don't have to worry about it falling in the water or getting wet . On top of all that amazing sound so easy to pair and use.

When I saw this on sale for half price, I immediately got it to replace my Mini Life Jacket, which had been stolen. While only slightly larger, it has great sound, respectable bass for its size, long Bluetooth range and amazing battery life. I used it to charge my iPhone during Hurricane Irma. It can also operate the phone and make calls. It's weatherproof and mounts to the handlebars on my bike using the included mounting bracket. Great speaker.

Bought this specifically with a camping trip in mind. It's a big heavy for backpacking but I don't go ultralight and feel like it might be worth the added weight. The fact that it plays music nicely, is rugged and waterproof, and acts as a power bank, it was great for camping. When the radio went out in my car, I also used it as a car stereo for a few weeks and it was a great fill in. Would definitely buy it again!

Altec has made nice speakers for years, this unit feels heavy and tough, it's waterproof and sounds good for a small speaker and the fact it charges your phone topped it off for my son.

Was in need of a Bluetooth speaker for the beach, pool and outside around the house. This speaker will fill the bill nicely. Has good sound and will fit the beach bag with no problem.

The speaker sounds great! It has decent bass for its size. Waterproof and floats! A lot of other reviews complain about being startled by the female voice that welcomes you every time the speaker is turned on, so I was worried about that. In reality, the voice is barely noticeable. I wouldn't have given it a second thought if it wasn't for the other reviews.

great volume to it, can't hear any static or fuzz from a wireless connection. Threw it in the sink with the water running and it did fine after being there for about a minute.

Sounds good and very good quality. Used at beach when I first purchased and it was in the sand and salt water and still works great a year and half later. Love it.

Tried several different speakers in the Bluetooth/waterproof category, including JBL, Braven, Fugoo, and the altec lansing Boomjacket 1. The new Boomjacket 2 is by far the best sounding speaker. Its dust proof water proof. 50 hours of battery life and you can pair it with another boomjacket 2 for stereo sound. Awesome product!

The first time I heard this speaker was on the store and I was impressed. I was about to buy one of the Bose speaker for my office, but when I heard this one and saw the price I was sold on it. It have been almost a year from my purchase and still going, I have taken it to the pool, beach, all my fair/booth appearances and even traveled with it.

Speakers are great quality, nice crisp sound. So happy that these don’t distort at high volume or drown in Bass! Great product!

I found this for a summer trip to Gulf Shores after my last Bluetooth speaker died on me. I've been extremely pleased with this purchase. It's definitely rugged and it's much louder than my last speaker. It's been rained on, kicked in the sand, and dropped a time or two and still flawless. Definitely lives up to its claims.

Really like this Speaker. Its really cool looking first of all and it works great and even has an App to control it. Its definitely waterproof cause I put it in my pool and let it float and it still works great. I like this one over the smaller one since it still can be packed to travel with and has good sound.

Well made, nice features, great sound and long battery life. Everything you can ask for in it's price range.
