I purchased this speaker for use at the pool, beach and job site. The first thing I done was charge it, connected it to the iPod and tossed it in the pool. Figured I'd put it to the test right out of the box. It's still working, I use it daily. The long battery life and sound quality are great as,well.

Great product but I did need to return the first one as it wouldn't take a charge at all. Best buy replaced and the subsequent one works and charges flawlessly.

This is the only bluetooth that I found that is water proof. It is small enough to take on the canoe. Its a good gift for someone who is hard to buy for.

I replaced my Harmon Kardon one unit with this because of short battery life. I was happy with the sound quality but use it at remote job sites and constantly had to recharge. I now can get a full week of use and never have to recharge.I am impressed with the sound quality and the durability of the case. I am extremely satisfied with my Altec Lansing Boom jacket

I purchased the Altec Lansing - Boom Jacket Bluetooth Speaker based on the numerous positive reviews and the sale price. This being my first foray into the world of Bluetooth technology I found the experience totally painless. After charging the battery it took less than 5 minutes to pair the speaker to my tablet and phone. The sound is perfect to my old ears!

I have been researching bluetooth speakers for quite some time and when i read up on the boom jacket i knew it was time to pull the trigger. The boom jacket was very easy to set up and pair. Battery life has been great. I have not tested out the dustproof or waterproof aspects but im looking forward to many hours of music by the pool this summer.

I bought my son a smaller version for Christmas, and we wanted something a little bigger to take on vacation to the beach with us. This is super easy to connect to your phone and use, and I can't wait to take it on vacation with us. The water/sand/shock proof quality was one of the biggest selling points, and I already knew the sound quality was great.

I got this speaker on a whim. Listened to it in the store and I was blown away how loud it was, and it didn't sacrifice bass for good sound. Love the amount of bass it produces. The battery life is great, I believe it's rated for 50+ hours. Great thing is the speaker automatically turns off if it's not being used, to save battery. Love this speaker!

Water proof, battery lasts an entire week! Decent sound quality

This speaker has good sound quality and the battery lasts as advertised. I don't like headphones, so bought the speaker to play outside and to use in an old vehicle with a radio that doesn't always work. Haven't had a chance to take to the beach yet to see how it will stand up to sand and surf, but I have used it in the rain and so far so good.
