I got this as a last minute gift for my brothers birthday, he's 16 and absolutely loves it. I even snuck time to listen to it a little when he's at school. The clarity of the music and the sound of the bass is a perfect combination that doesn't even have any issues at higher volumes!

Altec Lansing has always been my preferred when purchasing any speakers and it never disappointed me. These speakers were a gift for my dad and he loved it. The voice was loud and clear enough when used in open space. Battery life is also decent enough.

Got it on sale and works great with very good sound. Easily paired use it all around the house right now. Love the feature: everything proof and even floats. Have not tried those features but Altec Lansing is a great brand and have no doubts it will live up to its reputation.

This is a wonderful speaker with so much capability. It can go just about anywhere and is loud enough for backyard BBQ's or quiet enough for nice background music on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I haven't tested the waterproof capabilities yet, but I have no concerns about it.

I bought it to take to the beach, kiddos dropped it in the sand, but it still works!!! I put it in the sink to rinse all the sand out (since its waterproof) and it still works. I played it for hours and still haven't had to charge it. Could be a bit louder, but overall good product.

So far this speaker has lived up to the test. it works on all devices that we have tried it with. The sound quality is great. The volume is also a great range. We use it all the time. We even take it in the canoe and use it while the phone is in the water proof box. so far, so good.

Got this speaker as a 'Deal of the Day'. Couldn't beat it being 78% off! Tried it out for the first time on a pontoon boat in Galveston & it did well! no complaints so far, but I've only used once so far! It produces great sound without being a huge bulky speaker!

Always thought Altec Lansing made good products and this one proved it. It is excellent, compact, nice looking design and made solid. Looks like can take abuse. Wouldn't have purchased if it had been original price, but Best Buy sale made it too attractive to pass up.

I love it, I have had a lot of bad experience with portable speakers. But this is very durable

this is a great little speaker that is loud and clear for listening to music through you blue tooth enabled devices such as my tablet, cell phone and laptop. We use it all the time when out doors for a bbq, swimming in the pool or just hanging out at the bonfire when camping.

I bought this for my grandsons 10th birthday. He and his friends love playing outside and listening to their tunes. I wanted something that was durable and if dropped wouldn't break. Quality of sound is fantastic.

I bought this when it was a daily deal and for the $40 I paid this is an awesome speaker. The mount works great for my golf cart. Battery life is better than anything I've seen and can charge my phone no problem. Definitely worth more than the $40 I paid.
