Although a relatively small box, the sound performance and output on this thing is in no way small at all! It is quite impressive sound and quality wise. It can definitely handle a small party all by itself.

This is a robust product with great sound. The waterproof feature is what I really like. I bought it for use on my jet ski. Has enough volume to overcome engine noise.

Good quality speaker with great sound. It actually gets pretty loud. I must however mention that although the labeling suggests that the speaker is waterproof and floats in water, it does not actually play music while submerged in water. But it is waterproof. Once you pull the speaker out of the water and the water drains out the music comes back to the loud volume it was playing at prior to being submerged in water. Overall still a very good outdoor portable speaker with great durability.

I purchased this Bluetooth speaker on sale. When I got it home and charged the battery (40 hours play time fully charged?! Wow!) it was very easy to pair with my smart phone. Anyhow, when I turned it on outside, it filled the back yard with terrific sound. I would have expected to get that kind of sound quality only from a much larger unit. At this price and small size - AND IT'S WATERPROOF - you can't go wrong with the Altec Lansing Boom Jacket Bluetooth speaker.

Easy connection to Bluetooth on phone. Great sound, and very sturdy. Haven't used it in the water (pool, lake, etc) yet, but ready for summer.

This Bluetooth sleaker wins its just perfect for my taste and its water proof how cool it also floats. I recommend it to anyone who likes great sound and a nice bace in a portable speaker.

This speaker is just what I was after. Weather resistant, rugged build I could take out doors and not worry about breaking and Excellent sound quality. It has great battery life and hooks up effortlessly with the Bluetooth to all of my devices. It Puts out plenty of sound for such a small package. I have had zero issues with this in the last two years I have owned it. Highly recommended.

For a 200$ speaker it's nice easy pairing with nfc worked like it should have really easy. As far as how it sounds it sounds good at low to high volume out of water turn it up to high and it does get distorted a bit in the water tho it sounds completely different almost like you have a underwater sound system for being under water it sounds amazing really nice deep lows and really clear highs so yea water is where this thing really shines

Researched a number of waterproof/water resistant speakers and chose the Boom Jacket. Great durability for the beach or pool and has a nice volume range - even for outdoors. Although the sound quality isn't quite up to Bose standards, if you need a waterproof speaker that's rugged enough to stand up to drops, sand and water this is a great choice. Just be sure to keep the charging port door tightly closed when it's anywhere near water!

I picked up this Speaker as a gift to myself because I wanted something I could take with me on trips and to the beach. The sound quality is pretty good. In a medium sized hotel room with two queen sized beds it was adequate for my expectations. The bass was also pretty good for such a small speaker. Connecting it to my phone was super easy. I haven't tested it in pool, or at the beach yet but will try it on my next trip and update my post then. My girlfriend thinks it awesome too and keeps trying to steal it lol...

I was interested in a rugged / waterproof Bluetooth speaker and this came to mind. It sounds great but lacks bass. That's probably my only con about this speaker. Otherwise the runtime is really good considering I use Bluetooth. I've used it to charge my phone and that's a great perk. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a weatherproof speaker BUT doesn't nit pick on sound quality.

This is a very well built speaker. It says it can be fully submerged. I'll let someone else try. It is loud and easily syncs. Better than Bose or beats.

Bought this to have music when working outside. Sound quality is great as is the volume but better still is the 40 hour battery life. Now take it with us on our RV trips. It's water resistant so don't worry if left out in the rain. I've purchased similar but less expensive blue tooth speakers in the past but this is well worth the extra money

This speaker was a great value for the price. It sounds great, seems to be very durable, and has a great battery life.

The speaker has good sound. It is very loud. Long battery life. Haven't tested the waterproof or shockproof features yet.

It was very easy to set up and use. Great sound light weight and I love the durability of it. Especially water and sand proof.

Sound quality is good. Size makes it easy to carry along and you can listen to it in the shower because it's waterproof!

I don't do a lot of reviews, but wanted to take the time to say how great this speaker is. Bought it for a camping trip to have some tunes, without lugging a larger system around. With it being water proof, decided to take it with us on the raft as well. Well I can say it held up to the waterproof test! It floats! It kept playing underwater for a good 2 minutes, and has worked great since. It also puts out a reasonably good quality sound and can get rather loud for such a little speaker. Highly recommend!

Sound is great for such a small speaker. It feels very sturdy. The battery life lasts a very long time.
