Happy with the quality and sound for such a small device. Would of liked higher volume, great bass sound but want more of a stereo sound. When I am listening to you tube, the connection cuts out. Not sure why, I tried moving device around and still cuts out.

The Altec is a great wireless speaker. I dropped it accidentally several times and with no problems it turns on. The sound is great, I have a ranch with horses and when working outside. I turn my Altec speaker on and for hours I have great country music.

It works great it's a loudspeaker we have not tried and water yet but it's awesome

Held up well on my camping trip in changing weather and the battery life was excellent as it never ran out over the entire weekend. However, I wish it were a little louder; not so much for camping but for my back yard when I'm hanging out and swimming.

I bought this to be an outdoor speaker. I wanted something durable so if children knocked it over I wouldn't be out a speaker. So far so good. It has good volume projection and range although, the battery seems to go dead if I don't use it for a few days.

This is a great, solid speaker. Bought for my husband for Father's Day.. He takes it with him where he goes.... Sound is very good and I got it on sale so it is well worth the price I paid

Nice compact product that is cordless and wet proof. The sound is great but probably could use a little more volume. I am considering buying another to amplify the sound. Overall very good product for the price. Make sure you get the protection plan.

This thing does what it says, is waterproof and will float. It also sounds good....not great with all the stuff to make it waterproof it distorts the sounds a little. It does what I want it to, just wish it would be a little louder sometimes.

I've purchased almost 2 years ago and I use it maybe 10 times but good experience. Good quality its ALLproof and this model last 40 hours. Newer model only 24hours, why ? Idk. Buy it if you find this model

Have used at work (factory) and when riding my motorcycle. Still sounds great even after the mount broke and it being thrown off onto road from a motorcycle accident. PS, bought on a one day sale at 75% off

I chose to purchase this Bluetooth speaker based on reviews and my needs to be on the go. While the quality and durability are great I find the sound a little muted for outdoor use. Was expecting a little more bang for my buck considering the price.

so close to being a contender..love the bracket idea but if you want to secure to anything much larger than a pencil you are out of luck. Come on Altec, this should fit a golf cart canopy brace and the bracket is too small. Why did you put the screw in the middle of the toggle and not at the end???? So close....

Love this speaker for next to the pool, haven't tried putting it in the water yet, wanted something that wouldn't get ruined being next to the pool. Sound quality and design are great.

I purchased this when on sale and can highly recommend it for the sale price! Better range than my other cheaper Bluetooth speakers, and the fact that I can use it at the beach and for kayaking makes it especially useful!

Received this as a birthday gift.. I love that I can listen to music by the pool. I haven't tried putting it completely in the water but at least I'm comfortable with my daughter messing with it in by the pool.. Sound quality is great.

I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. It has fallen out of windows, been in the pool (in and underwater) and never had a problem. Only flaw is the distortion at about 25 feet away from source, but other than that it is great.

Altec-Lansing has always had a great name in electronic equipment. This speaker is no exception. Works great via blue tooth. The sound quality is excellent and the ease of pairing it to other electronic devises is great!
