Good battery life, not the most powerful sound volume.

When working outside, there is no comparison for music. When working outside, it is likely to be what...noisy, dirty, wet, and potential for danger. This is the one. If using inside, it might be overkill. For me, personally, there is nothing that says excess like overkill. Good sound, good distance, good product.

This is a great portable blue tooth weather resistant speaker. Does what it says it will do and it is a fairly hassle free device. Now, the sound quality isn't fantastic and I wish it would go a little louder, but hey for it's size...I think it's close to as good as it gets.

Amazing little speaker...what I like most beside all the great features mention in other reviews is the mount it comes with. I have it mounted to the pipe the feeds my shower head! Excellent for jamming in the shower!

This is my second one. First one had to return because it wouldn't take a charge. This one doesn't light up when charging, but all other functions work properly. Either a poor production or poor inspectors. Only recommending this because it synced nicely with my iPhone.

I love my new Boomjacket, I enjoyed it for exactly 3 days. By the 4th day, my daughter asked to borrow it, and I haven't seen it since. Don't get me wrong, I can hear it, can...I hear it! Guess what she's getting for her birthday in less than 3 months?

The sound is OK (it's not a Bose). The battery life is awesome. Great for camping, floating, outdoors. Really nice that it can be mounted on a tripod.This is priced right. I wish you could pair up multiple speakers.

I haven't had the radio out in the rain, or in the sand or water yet, which is what I purchased it for, but assume it will work as intended. My only wish is for the sound volume to be higher.

I thought due to its size and price point it would be louder. It sounds good if your in close proximity. I got it as a deal of the day through Best Buy, definitely not worth full price.

Performs as advertised. However seems to be background noise when using the Bluetooth link. Bass response is OK, but not impressive. JBL charge 3 sounds better. However the ability to use this with GoPro attachments makes this a good choice.

Works great and the floating spec is true! The second I got it, I turned it on and threw it into a sink full of water. Sound quality is temporarily gone as the water gets trapped behind the screen. It comes back though once dry.

I got mine on sale for 65$. For that amount it is a good speaker. I would be disappointed if I spent the full price of 200$. Not a tremendous amount of bass or volume, but adequate.

I use this on my boat and on when I am in the hot tub. it is rugged, sounds great and is very easy to setup. I haven't used for hours on end without charging so no idea how long it truly lasts, but it has done great for me so far.

This is the last kind I'll buy but not the last one. I want 2-3 more of these they are so useful everywhere I go. Theres nothing it doesn't have or do. Its also really loud!

I had to exchange the speaker three times. First one never fully charged, the second one just stopped in mid song and never powered back on. The third is working like a charm.

Speaker works well. Carries a charge for a considerable time. My only issue is the top volume level is very low in my opinion.

The speaker has been great. However the USB charging port for the battery back up quit working and altec never got back to me after multiple attempts.
