Battery life's the best feature

It is not loud enough to drown out jet blasts. When it is quiet, the sound is OK. It does lack bass as reviewed by others on this site. It does not sound as good as the Bose or JBL speakers I've had in the past. The battery does last quite a long time. They advertise "up to 40 hours," but I have only been able to get around 25 hours on them at about 80% volume on a full charge. Still pretty impressive. It doesn't seem to be waterproof as advertised. I attempted to have it float in a pool like pictures show, but it sounded like it was shorting out, so I quickly removed it from the water. Overall, it's a decent sounding speaker with great battery life. If you could get it on sale for under $100 like I did, it's worth the money.
