So I Bought this new style, and I love the new style and charging pad! I can charge my iPhone X on it the only thing is it falls off sometimes and you can not charge with a case on. the new Battery life is not so good, but I love it.

Took a beating

I sometimes stored the speaker in the front box and it got beaten up pretty Good and was doused with water often and still played like a champ. Not as loud as I would have liked so 4 stars

Great sound and easy pairing

The NFC pairing makes it easy to connect to my phone. The only downside is it has limited range. It has to be within about 5 feet of my phone to maintain the audio signal. I use it with a Google pixel XL.

If JBL flip 4 ever comes out with a mount like this I would highly recommend the JBL

The only downfall is the Bluetooth starts to fade out and get choppy when you walk away with your phone. At about 10' it starts to lose its signal and fades out.

I use it in a construction zone and it has been through several drops , dust, water, paint, and it’s still going. I would recommend it for its portability, longativity, and loudness.

If you have it paired to your phone and have the phone in your pocket it will cause the audio to cut in and out.
