My only knock against it is that there is an obnoxiously loud "welcome to ALTEC LANSING" announcement every time I power it on. Other than that is a really decent little speaker for a small space.

Replacement speaker

Has worked well so when he lost it when he his Kayak turned over, we thought it was supposed to float, he wanted another one since that one performed so well and is waterproof.

It works and sounds great and is a tremendous value. The initial connection to your Bluetooth device can be tricky. Otherwise, it’s smooth sailing.

With the USB charging it can be used anywhere, add to that the rugged design that will even tolerate getting wet and this is a great value.

It was the smallest one I could find that has an aux port. It has good sound but it is annoying how it announces "welcome to Altec Lansing" every time you turn it on

The only down side is when I turn it up there is a distortion. The range is really good, linking to a Blu-tooth is easy. Size is great. If you are looking for a speaker for a small area, buy this one.
