Bought this as an Xmas gift for my niece as she wanted to shower with it lol. Suprised by the deep bass, pretty loud and def the price. Was not expecting it to sound as good as it does. Well worth the price.

Love the clear sound and its small size . Makes it easy to carry, and I can place it anywhere I want while at work . (Warehouse ) I have dropped it a couple of times and still works great .

Waterproof, great sound, my only single complaint would be the obnoxious "WELCOME TO ALTEC LANSING!, YOU ARE NOW PAIRED!" announcement every single time, but that hardly detracts from the awesomeness of the speaker itself

Was looking for a compact speaker for the bathroom and this worked out great. Waterproof and provides great sound while i take a shower.

For a small speaker you need to jam out in bathroom or kitchen while cooking. It’s a great little speaker with loud and clear sound. Great for the price.

Great sound quality for such a small speaker. I would definitely recommend this speaker for anyone looking for a speaker to use for outdoor fun. It's durable and loud.

I was rather taken back with the sound from this little speaker when I first tried a demo unit. The sound that comes out of it is really impressive and it's more or less life proof (waterproof/shockproof/dustproof). We got a handful of them for Christmas presents for everyone in our family and they've held up really well. The bass waivers a bit when turned up all the way but not any worse than anything else this size and it puts out much more than many twice it's size. It has a built in rechargeable battery and a charge holds pretty well. It is recharged with a standard micro usb charge cable (like a cell phone charger), or plugged into the computer (for charging only). I've tried using one of them a little bit for cell speakerphone and online for a skype speaker with a PC Bluetooth adapter... They leave a little to be desired for microphone use, but for music playback they are just awesome. The only thing I wish they had done different with this is the "voice" that says "powering on", "paired with", "powering down" is full volume, always...

Lightweight but powerful and robust. It's sound quality is surprising for such an small speaker. Do the job in the patio and pool just perfect.

Sound is clear even when loud, great size & water proof is just perfect

I bought this because I needed something small and durable for working graves with. This thing can be really clear and quiet but can also blast pretty well. I use it everywhere. I now have two altec lansing speakers and wouldn't use anything else. I bought this for my girlfriend for her tattoo room after I bought my own a few days later

good sound in a small speaker and it could get wet and won't get damaged but will definitely not float! Overall a good small speaker.

For a little speaker, it does have a good sound and volume. Run time is about 6 hours, but can continue to use it while it is charging.

I give it a 4 star because of the outer rubber covering. It can loosen up some with cold temps. However, this does not seem to have anything to do with allowing any moisture in. The entire speaker box seems to be sealed underneath the rubber. The real use for the outer shell is to seal off the charging and inline audio ports. And shock absorbtion. I make sure the flap is secure before using around water. I use it every day in the shower and it does get wet and humid, and it still has had no issues at all. It also has double speakers inside, even the smallest model! This little speaker sounds real bassey for such a small BlueTooth. Much fuller sound than equal priced, equal sized speakers that aren't even waterproof! The charge lasts long. I haven't run out of juice before having to charge it yet. I take mine everywhere. I plan to get a larger model too.

I've only had this speaker for two months now. So far so good. I did a lot of research before I bought this. It has good sound, reasonable price, sand and water proof, (I did a beach trip test) and great travel size. I did not need anything fancy just something simple and this was perfect. Pros: Sound is very good to my taste Price was reasonable Audio levels are decent Perfect for traveling or a quick grab and go; (beach, plane, bike riding you name it it will work for your traveling needs) Good Size: Fits right in your pocket Cons: Nothing so far. The only thing is that I might have gotten a bad audio jack cable that comes with it. I kinda have to fool with it a bit at first until I get the sound from my Ipod to play. It still works. But I will update this review if anything else comes up.

So i had reward points and had a certificate of $40. I looked around to see what was on sale that week and this was one of the things that caught my eye. I always used to shower with my phone on top of the toilet with as high of volume as possible but it wasn't enough to really enjoy it. SO, when I saw this Bluetooth speaker which was waterproof, I was sold. It has great sound and I carry it everywhere. Very portable. The only thing I didn't like is that there is a greeting when you turn it on that says, "Powering on! Welcome to Altec Lansing," "You are now paired, enjoy!" when you pair up and "Powering off," when you turn it off. Since I always have the volume up when I turn it off, it's really loud when I turn it on and there is no way to turn off those greetings. Also, since I took it to my friend's pool over the summer, the paint has come off a little bit. But that is to be expected. Chlorine can be tough on paint. Overall, worth every penny!

It has good battery life & nice sound quality. Perfect size!!

when I read the reviews it said 4 hr. battery life. but i barely managed to get a little over 3 hr.s. i think that's because the source of my Bluetooth is usually a little far from the speaker. I use it in my bathroom. It packs great sound for the price and size and given that its waterproof you can use it any where you like in the house.

I like the compact size. It's waterproof and very durable.
