The speaker sounds good for voice audio. It is easy to operate. The voice commands are very annoying. When you power on the device it blasts out at high volume “Powering on, Welcome Altec Lansing”. The other voice prompts are just as bad. I tried to contact customer support through Altec Lansing’s website to see if the volume could be lowered but I did not receive a response. If you don’t mind the loud prompts the speak is OK. I am just not going to be able to use it in my apartment. I would give this a higher rating if it weren’t for the loud prompts.

I needed a small portable Bluetooth speaker that I can carry around in my pocket or back back without being too bulky. This was everything I was looking for and the water proof feature is great to have for summer time water activities.

I use it everywhere ...boating, beach, pool, even IN the shower. Works Perfect!!

haven't gone diving with this yet but I know it is splashed proof, it links up and I haven't had any issue, it was a good budget bluetooth speaker, I haven't run the speakers for more than 4 hours at a time but that's long enough for me

This is the 3rd one I have bought because I LOVE THE SPEAKER! It is super loud and durable. The battery last a long time and it is perfect for a suitcase or even a pocket! Highly recommend.

My 17yo son wanted a small, portable, waterproof, bluetooth speaker to take to water polo tournaments. This one fits the bill nicely. It's sounds a little tinny to my ear, but he loves it. And at this price, we're not worried if it gets lost or stolen. The clip is great to attach to his gearbag.

i needed a speaker for my work computer and this one is perfect. Small and compact but it works really well. I love the fact that it is water proof. Easy to set up and use.

This speaker is really, really awesome! It goes on for hours. The only drawback is that it lets you know everything it's doing, i.e. "powering on", "powering off" and "device is charging" which drives you crazy. If they would take that away, this speaker would be absolutely perfect!

When I purchased this I needed something that was sturdy and well built because my brother is a wood worker and outside a lot. The Altec Lansing H20 didn't disappoint. It is loud, durable and easy to handle with its size.

Sound is good, and great size for travelers. The speaker is a hardy speaker, it has been dropped, slightly abused and still keeps on working. Price is right.
