Picked up 4 of these on Deal of the Day, taking a chance with only one review so far. They arrived on 2nd day and my initial review is very positive. It is all metal and feels well constructed. With the slip case for protection it is VERY packable. I travel a lot and bring my JBL Charge 2. This is much smaller and lighter, great for hotels, camping and airtravel when your trying to pack light. The sound is not quite as full as the Charge 2, but is really decent for such a compact unit. I am very pleased with the sound. I'm not sure I'd pay full price, but on a good sale, for sure! I am keeping all four and may get more for xmas next time they are on sale.

I got this for 39.00 on the Deal of the Day. Altec Lansing is a company I have trusted for many years. At the $99.00 MSRP it has really strong competition from UE, Bose and others but nothing competes with it at the sale price. It makes for very good but not great music, is waterproof (but not submergible!) and plays plenty loud when close at hand outdoors and more than loud enough in a small room where I use it. It has decent bass and for those who are into heavy bass you may want something else. I like acoustic music- Jazz, vocal, folk, bluegrass and it is really good for these.

Sound it good but bass is a little lacking. For the price im happy. (Deal of the day)

This Bluetooth portable speaker easily fits in your shirt pocket or ladies purse, but delivers a great and powerful sound! The bass woofer is exposed on the back of the unit, but it comes with a hard pocket case to protect it when not being used and it has two little feet that twist out to prop the speaker up during use.

I purchased 2 of these speakers a couple of weeks ago when it was on a great sale! It's really portable, sound big and looks good too. I recommend it at the sale price !

Comes with a case - nice feature. Sound is pretty good generally. Bass is a little weak - but that is to be expected for speakers of this size.

I was under the impression that the speaker was bigger. Easy to connect and the sound was adequate for the value.

I bought this speaker based on the reviews. I needed a speaker that I could listen to music in the bedroom while I sewed. I played Pandora from my computer or phone. It has pretty good sound considering the price. I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it for a low budget device.
