Pretty loud for a little speaker, durable but the price tag is a little salty. First one I purchased did not work, exchanged it for another one and have not had any problems.

So far this bluetooth speaker has been a blast. Battery life is amazing and the sound quality is superb but it could have more bass. I would definitely recommend this product !

this speaker is great bought it for my husband and works well, easy to pair and is very loud for it smaller size i was very impressed with the speaker overall.

I got it because it was tough and it is. And I also liked that it had a long battery life. However, it's weakness is that isn't very loud. I kept trying to turn up the volume but it was just not loud enough.

I bought this to take to a log cabin on a lake. It paired easily with my iPhone 7 and worked perfectly, even after being dunked in the lake a few times. It also sounds great. The App lets you change the sound with a minimized equalizer, but the app isn't that usable. I just used to the iMusic app on my iPhone. It is rated for about 50 hours of battery life and has a USB port to charge your phone. Obviously, the battery life is affected if you use it for charging. I used it over a two week period for about 2 - 6 hours a day and never ran out of battery life. But I used another battery pack to charge my phone. It comes with an 16v A/C charger. There isn't a DC or car charger with it and you can't buy one from Altec Lansing. This was important to me to be able to charge it with solar power or in the car. I ended up using an older laptop DC car charger (Targus APD80US) that provided the same 16v voltage (important). There is a relatively loud welcome message when you turn it on and it can't be changed or disabled. This could annoying for some people if you use it in an office or shared space (i.e. the smaller models). It comes with mounting adapters and, weirdly, It also comes with a strap with no indication on how to install it..... Overall, it's a great speaker for camping, beach, etc. It's a bit on the expensive side, but the quality and durability makes it worth it.

Bought this for our vacation to and island off the coast and it didn't disappoint! Was gone for a week and only charged up once! Loud enough and clear enough!!

I know some think it's just another blue tooth speaker, but I have to say after owning more than my fair share of speakers that this one is completely off the charts so much better. Yes it's a clear sound, yes it's about to get as loud as I want outdoors, yes it's water proof, and easy to use!! It's an amazing speaker and I can't thank my hubby enough for this wonderful gift!

The speaker is well built & solid. Love the fact it floats & is water proof. I just needed a bit more bass, so it wasn't the speaker for me.

This puts out good quality sound both in front and rear speakers. That's right it has rear speakers. I've only had it 3 three weeks, taken it to the beach, sounds awesome even with the wind blowing and the waves crashing. My only uncertainty at this point is whether it will play for the 50 hours on a single charge. The first charge did not even get 20. Later I found out the charger was bad. I returned the entire unit, received a new. Thus far no problems charging...we'll see if can go the 50 hours on a single charge.

This speaker can fill a large area with amazing sound quality. It's waterproof, and just about everything proof. It's also not large in size which makes it easy to place just about anywhere. It offers 50 hours of run time on a full charge. You'll enjoy your music immensely with this speaker.

Love the speaker and the output of sound and crispness of audio. The negative I have found the the bluetooth range really stinks. Not sure if it’s just the speaker I got, because all my other ALTEC Lansing speakers have close to triple the range. Wish this one was the same as my other. Besides the Bluetooth complaint the speaker is great! Water proof and durable.

What a great speaker. I take this fishing quite a bit and put it in my garage, listen when I'm in the shower, outside, all over. High quality with killer sound. This thing gets loud!!! The battery holds a charge well. Very rarely do I recharge it, and I use it all the time.

WE use this speaker when we are on the boat - rather than running the battery down on the boat using the stereo when we are on the beach, we use this speaker. The battery life is great and the sound is amazing for something so small. Being water proof is an added bonus! Big power small package!

Great sound quality and a battery when fully charged that lasts as advertised, 50 hours! So versatile and great volume that doesn't distort with excellent bass. Bluetooth range is good. Read a lot of positive reviews about this unit before I bought it. Well worth the price!

For the price I truly believe it cannot be beat. It really floats. Plenty loud, although not the loudest. Battery life is outstanding. Used multiple times floating down the river and it’s still going strong. Beyond happy with the purchase and would recommend.

Good sound and durability the only draw back is it's Bluetooth connectivity is not the best.

I bought this speaker as a gift for my husband who loves spending weekends in the woods camping, fishing, and off-roading. He took it with him the first weekend after he got it and was amazed. He heard the music with clarity, even far off. The bass in it is also amazing - probably my favorite part. We are very happy with this and definitely recommend for anyone looking for a new speaker.

We just love this speaker. Before purchasing it we looked and listened to every speaker Best Buy carried. This by far exceeded the rest. I also liked others they carried but price point as well as sound and durability this speaker won out. It's very solid. You can take it anywhere without sorry of hurting this speaker. It's got little bumpers built into it for added protection. Works great!

This thing is pretty sweet. The sound quality is great for the size. Weighing 9 pounds can be a bit cumbersome, but it is worth it for all of the pros it has going. Floats, shock proof, sand proof, usb jacks, aux audio jack for older Ipods,. This thing is a tank.

Very durable, battery does not last as long as advertised. Charger is a little finicky. Do not push all the way in it will not charge. Overall a good product.
