I prefer them for sound, quality of and the structure. I was a bit disappointed. The rubber is loose, thin and cheap. The original ones are firm, sound good and have lasted years of camping, river runs and lake floating. I'm scared to get this one near water. I don't trust it.

I took advantage of a Black Friday discount & bought the larger Super Lifejacket Jolt. The sound was wonderful & I'm listening to radio stations from around the world, using my Android phone as the tuner. It's a great product!
