Best Wireless Earbuds Ever

I tested many highly rated earbuds from $25-$200. Some fell out my ears with sweat and intense workouts, and some the didn't have that heavy bass they advertised. This hidden secret Altec True Evo's had everything more expensive earbuds had for far cheaper without coming out my ears. I was able to change the equalizer on my phone getting even better sound other earbuds could not handle. Altec is my new earbuds and wireless waterproof speakers, both are top notch performers!

Let's start with some facts: These are only available at Best Buy so It is hard to judge the the reasonableness of the price since there is no competition. Second at $100 these are far from the top of the line from a price point.
The sound is very good. The bass is heavy- possibly too much. I guess this depends upon your personal preference. Like others I had frequent bluetooth drops when my iphone 6+ was in my pocket. I switched to my ipad and used them for working out on a stationary bike. Under these conditions the signal was never lost. I then walked up to 20 feet away to use weight machines and had no drop.
I went back to using them with my iphone (6+) and mounted the phone in a forearm strap. I again had signal drops (very annoying).
Otherwise, they are comfortable, fit well and isolate outside noise well. I used the foam ear pads which I really like.
For $100 they are contenders. They have better bass and sound isolation than my $250 Bose Sound Sport Free. I think the mids and highs are slightly better on the Bose. This may not be noticeable when you are panting on a bike or treadmill.
I think they are worth a try and hope a future software patch fixes the drops.

I purchased these in replace of my ink'd Bluetooth from skull-candy.
The reviews are pretty accurate.
The bass is not overbearing. The sound is clear with few latency issues. i did have trouble pairing both ear buds for sometime,
You must power both L&R at the same time in order for them to sync together and then search and connect using your phone.
I loved the fact that it has Qi charging no additional wires on my desk.
Granted the SPECS that read: up to 3hrs battery life thread carefully. I have yet to receive 2hrs. Granted all true wireless bt headphones mention up to 3-4 hrs I would like to fully experience my music or video streaming without getting low battery notifications within the 1hr of use.
Not being able to skip or rewind a track can become a issue sometimes I would have preferred the option to press the power button 2x's to skip and 3x's to rewind.
The Qi-charging case does charge both ears pretty fast but it's bulky.
For Altec-Lansing --- for the next model if you can increase the battery life and possibly enable a forward and previous option that would be amazing. /the missing volume buttons wouldn't hurt.

Pros: cheaper than most brands.
the sound quality is very good over bluetooth, I was surprised.
you can charge them with the case with the micro usb cable or you can charge them on top of a wireless charger as long as you put them inside the charger. great option.
they are comfortable to wear .
Cons: cellphone needs to be as close as possible to the earbuds or you will loose connection.
the battery doesn't last more than an hour in 70% volume+
on another note: I cannot reccomend to buy the warranty on these earpieces because if you loose one , it cannot be exchanged and the warranty is non transferable to the new pair. I lost one earpiece while running and the one I have doesn't connect to my phone without the other piece so for now I have a paperweight with warranty for another 14 months.
I do recommend them just don't buy the bestbuy warranty because one of them is gonna fell off sooner or later if you do fast sports or activities and you won't notice it.

Great True Wireless Earbuds

I have owned a few True Wireless Earbuds before and have always found a few problems like short battery, lack of sound quality, or issues pairing the earbuds together. All that changed with the Altec Lansing True Evo.
PROS:
- Great sound quality with nice bass. No they aren't the best sound quality that you could find within headphones but you shouldn't expect that with earbuds without a cord and in such a small size.
- True wireless with no cords connecting the earbuds. The connection between the 2 earbuds has not failed me yet.
- Qi wireless charging is a nice feature if you already have a phone or charging case with Qi built-in. While Qi charging pad is not needed to charge the earbuds, it is a nice added bonus.
- Battery life seems very good for true wireless earbuds and the ability to quickly charge them within the case is nice.
Cons:
- It can be a bit tricky to align the earbuds within the case to ensure they are charging, but I've found that once you close the lid on the charging case they align and charge just fine.
- Bluetooth setup to your device may take a couple of tries. However once the setup is complete, there does not seem to be any problem maintaining that connection.

i really wanted to love these headphones. true wireless from a company with a decent name under a hundred bucks (on sale) with a host of innovated features and great sound..what more could you ask for?
well you could ask for them to work more than 30 minutes. brand new on a full charge i was getting between 20 and 30 minutes before the left bud would die giving me the low battery warning...didn't even last a full workout...even on a light day. and im not cranking these, at best i had them at mid level volume....if these were being used full volume you would probably get 15 minutes. second...at the 5 week mark the power button on the left bud went. it got stuck and i was never able to turn it off because it was stuck in a state of constant discharge draining the battery case. that was the last straw, thank god i bought the insurance. i returned them and ended up buying a pair of bone induction headsets from aftershokz, which are by far the best workout headsets i have ever used...
so if you want to take a chance on these, here is the good...
the sound is really good, bass is actually pretty good. surprisingly good, mids and highs sound great, very well tuned to a wide range of music. if you have listened to an entry level pair of bose or jaybirds wireless i would say they are a hair under sound quality of those. and in my opinion better sound than the powerbeats 3 which are very bass heavy. Bluetooth connection was good. but if you have any experience with true wireless headsets anything under Bluetooth 5.1 has issues on connectivity... i had dropouts here and there but not a deal breaker on that end, they would reconnect in half a second and resume. my wife's jaybirds had the same issues.
the battery case is qi wireless compatible, as far as i know, the only charging case on the market that has this feature...in the few weeks i had it, i was able to get almost 3 charges onto the earbuds before the case was drained and needed to be recharged.
phone calls were easy to navigate because of the audible cues and sound quality was very good. on the other end i was told by several people that my voice quality sounded great while i was talking to them.
i really wanted to love these....if they came close to the advertised usage time, heck if they lasted an hour and a half per charge i probably would have exchanged for another pair...but these things just don't live up to their potential.. half an hour just does not cut it, then they became unusable after a few weeks...if they drop down to 40 or 50 bucks and you want to take a chance make sure you buy the replacement plan. me personally i'll pass until they work out all the bugs from this 1st attempt.

The bass is okay. At least not as digitized and muddied as the Bose ear buds. The mids and highs are great. Even comfortable if you fall asleep wearing them. I wish these were better at noise cancelling. It gets winding when riding my bike into a head wind. The buds stay put. Easy to pair and the price is fair. I would recommend them to a friend!

First off I am a beginner audiophile...so my standards and expectations tend to be high when it comes to sound quality. One word Wow. Not being cliche...but I am impressed by the sound signature, stage and overall output of these True Evo's. I adjusted them to fit the small size wing tips and other tips to tailor to my ears, but after this adjustment which you get by the extra tips included in package, all is well in my music world! Thumbs Up Altec Lansing

the sound quality great.
wireless charging a big plus. comfortable, but kept falling off while eating so that was annoying, battery life 3 to 3 1/2 hrs tops. so I had no choice and returned, did not want to lose either left or right ear bud while at work or play. really liked the wireless charging though.

I just got these yesterday and they are very light weight and fit snugly in your ears.
There is a lot of sound and you may not need to go max volume unless you’re more dead than myself.
Good bass also.
Great buy for under $100!

For the price, these headphones have been great. They are comfortable and have good sound. They never fall out of my ears, whether I am going for a jog or mowing the lawn. My only complaint is the charging configuration. I often have to jiggle the headphone into position to get it to charge. Furthermore, the ear piece often gets stuck in the case when I'm trying to take them out. I have to use tweezers to get it out. This is a hassle when traveling.
Overall, good product with poor charging design.

Great price point. Although, some connectivity issues while moving. Wish you could see the battery life from your phone (wish there was an app). Have to make sure the earbuds are plaved perfectly in the cradle...sometimes they don’t charge while in it.

I really like being totally wireless and the fit is very good. The sound is OK — a bit tinny and the bass isn’t great. Can sometimes be a little finicky when connecting to my iPhone or Apple Watch.

Sound quality was great but thats about it, always had issues with them staying in my ears no matter what adapters i had in, would randomly tell me disconnected mid song beep a few times then continue playing and the charge case broke on me in 2 weeks, traded in with my geek squad and got AirPods absolutely no complaints now

Simply out a garbage product. This is a repackaged version of the Zolo Liberty, which may also be "cousins" with the Samsung earbuds which are coming off the market. Does the sound go out on the right earbud as stated in a few reviews✔(yes). Is the battery life worse than expected for size of the bulky charging case you need to carry around✔(yes). Does it have Bass yes, but it distorts so badly you can't even hear the highs. Garbage head phones horrible fit, I wouldn't recommend these to any one even if they dropped the price to $29.95
