Better than jaybird run

My over all experiance is that the battery life and sound is way better than that of the jaybird run which cost more and are not even ther best. Sound is 10x that of the runs the fit and feel is also way better.

I have gone through quite a few earbuds looking for something that works for me at the gym. They fit comfortably and sound amazing so far. My only gripe is that you really don't get all the features and benefits like the apple AirPods but, they are reasonably priced. The case charges wirelessly if you have a charging pad. Trust me get them and you will get your moneys worth. Purchase the two year replacement plan its worth it as well

Enjoy the sound, but customer service is awful

I purchased these headphones in March 2018 and initially loved them. The sound quality is great and sounds full with plenty of bass. However, one issue was that the case had a finicky latch that was very difficult to open, but I just made due with the issue. However, the latch continued to get more and more difficult to open and eventually broke within several weeks of purchase. I reached out to customer service at Altec Lansing to explain the issue and they agreed to send me a replacement case after I provided them with the receipt. At that point, I continue to make due with the case and waited for the replacement. One month went by, two months went by, three months went by, and then earlier this month the case no longer charges the headphones. I reached out again to customer service via phone in the first week of July and a service rep told me that "they would be sent next week". Of course I didn't receive them and then reached out to the company via twitter. I was told they didn't have any replacement cases on hand but would have some "soon" and that my case "would be escalated". I asked if there was an ETA as to when I would get the case, and I was told "we're working to get it shipped out ASAP". So here we are four months after purchase with a faulty item that is no fault of my own, and I still have no replacement case, with no ETA, and my headphones can no longer be charged. My goal with this review is not to slag the company but I do feel that it is important to know that if anyone else decides to purchase these headphones and has an issue, that a four month waiting period (and counting) is what I've been having to deal with to try and get the product working again. Very unfortunate and I won't be purchasing Altec Lansing products in the future.

I just bought these on Monday and so far, I am fairly impressed. I have been looking for an "inexpensive" pair (not $20 inexpensive, but the next level up) of truly wireless headphones. I saw these on sale for $70 and figured I'd try them out. The first pair I bought, the right headphone would not hold a charge - lasted about 10-15 minutes, said "battery level at 20%" and then disconnected shortly thereafter. Fortunately, I was able to exchange them for a new pair that seems to work perfect so far. No complaints there.
I use these mostly for running or working out at the gym, and don't have any problems with them disconnecting or falling out. They fit securely! The only issue I am finding is that I am still trying to find the best tips to use in my ears. My right ear fits securely and the noise cancellation is good, but not so much with my left ear.
Overall, these are a great set of headphones less than $100, and I would recommend it to those looking for a decent pair of headphones.

I was sceptical at first given the huge price difference vs competitors and lack of many reviews, however, i was happily suprised with the sound quality , ease of use, and comfort. I'm typing this as im using them to listen to music. They are excellent!

Terrible headphones, waste of money

So after looking at some wireless earbuds I decided to get these. They have what I was looking for and at a decent price. They have totally disappointed me!!
I am on my second pair because after 1 month the original pair just stopped working. I was only using them when I studied so they weren't even going through anything too extreme.
Now on my second pair they only charge when they want to. I have them charginfg every night on a wireless charger and in the case but I still only get about 20 minutes to 1.5 hours on them.
Don't waste your money on these!! Worst pair of headphones/earbuds I've owned...

But the battery thing is a main issue. Had both buds in the charger all day, only use them for about an hour when I got home and the left but was already low battery. Is there anyway to fix this problem Altec??

I read the reviews before purchasing. I even read a review of an independent source online who tested these and claimed the bass was THOUNDEROUS. I may have got a dud....but they are far from even being decent. I tried all the different ear pieces with it and although the foam made a better seal, it was not enough to make me want to keep them. The highs are very sharp and harsh. The low end is non existent. I guess if you don’t mind harsh sound but want the convenience of totally wirel free then this is the way to go.
Also, strange but maybe just a coincidence but all the other reviews besides mine are written within a couple days of each other. Maybe someone trying to drum up some business? You’ve been warned.

Good Sounding

These earbuds are great especially for the price. The controls are only to pause/play and to activate your assistant on your phone. It does not have a volume button. It also lags for videos. The pairing was simple. These are good earbuds if you're using it for only for music.

Works as I had hoped. I use them primarily for music and have been pleased with the sound quality. For the price you really can't beat these ear buds.

Bought a pair of these with moderate expectations, just wanted it to do what it says on the box- work for up to 3 hours. Couldn't get over an hour out of them, so I exchanged them for another pair and had the same problem. Nothing else matters, pass on these.

Yes they are true wireless but, the battery life doesn’t last 4 hours 2 hours tops.. and they broke today, after a month took a phone call and tried turning them back on and the button got stuck and won’t turn on anymore. Terrible product.

Bad connection

This gets low score because the connection issue should not be. I can cover the left ear and it degrades the connection enough to drop signal to right ear. This is no way should be happening. Sometimes even turning my head makes the connection drop. When my S9+ is right in front of me (2 feet).

Very pleased with the quality of the sound. They came with several types and sizes of ear pads. Especially like the case which has back up battery built in to recharge the ear buds and can be charged wireless.

I picked these up a few days ago and I am very unhappy with the constant drop out of signal. I am a broadcast engineer by trade and consider myself very tech savy. I will be returning these.
