Called tech support and was told to call our internet provider. Called internet provider and was told to call the router manufacturer. Gave up after 2 days of calls and frustration so will be driving it 40 miles to return it at the nearest store.

Alexa can’t understand what you’re saying. Just get a regular echo. Pros: good speaker. Water resistant. Don’t buy if you’re wanting Alexa.

After taking it home and configuring it to use my Amazon Alexa account, I was disappointed in a thousand different ways. The sensitivity of the unit is a small fraction of that of an Amazon Echo or Dot: from a distance of three feet away, I would have to repeat Alexa requests three or four times to be understood. Audio playback was deeply broken: playback was several octaves too high, so that adult male announcers sounded like Alvin the Chipmunk. And the sound quality playing music was simply mediocre: it had the sound quality of a cheap portable radio. I took it back for refund this afternoon. I don't recommend the unit.

One for myself (great for showers and to clip in my bag around campus) and one for my 11 MO old daughter to hang and play music while she sleeps. Can get nice and loud and has a good sound quality.
