Purchased this to replace a Logitech C920 which recently died after several years. The image quality and light management built into this camera are abysmal - I consistently looked as though I was sitting in the dark, even with a table lamp, an overhead light, and indirect sunlight contributing to the light levels in the room. Finally, after less than a week, it stops working entirely - Using the provided cable, I receive an error message that the device is using too much power and all USB devices are being disabled. When replacing this with a thunderbolt cable and attaching it directly to my MacBook, the device is not recognized. Tried this with multiple cables and MacBooks.

Very very Dime lightning. Made it nearly impossible to see the 4k footage. Price and image quality are ok but does not deliver the clarity promissed.

I just can’t be used with a MacBook PC only while streaming

Horrible quality and overpriced don't even think about giving this camera a chance.

This camera does not work with my Mac. The image is very dark even in a well lit room. Support is not very helpful. It took weeks to get a response. I was able to get it to work on my PC but I had to go to the support site and download the app webcap and make adjustments. Unfortunately, it would not retain setting for the Mac.

The quality was worse than my 1080 $40 generic webcam from amazon. I do not recommend spending this amount of money on this webcam.

I purchased one of these and had to return it because the picture was extremely off-center. The replacement webcam was also off-center, but it was less severe. I decided to stick with it because I needed the product and was able to align it a bit to the side, but that's pretty unacceptable for a webcam this expensive. I'd highly recommend going with something else.

Although the webcam as a device was really good, it was a pain to adjust the panning manually plus there is no way to adjust the brightness, color intensity, contrast, white balance or auto focus settings without the benefit of software to go along with this camera. I ended up returning it for another web camera in which there was software to help adjust the settings.

It’s might be 4K but there is still a lot of noise. For the price I was expecting closer to professional video

The image comes out very dark—way darker than any other webcam I own. It doesn’t handle contrast very well, and has objectively worse image quality than my $30 Aukey webcam. The microphone isn’t terrible, but it’s nothing special. The device is well built and attractive, but doesn’t serve its purpose every well.

It's an okay camera but it's not as clear as I would expect.

This camera is terrible. Even in a brightly lit room the image is very dark and being a web cam there are no controls or settings to adjust it. I picked a cheap webcam for less than half the price and it was able to capture video that didn’t look like it was shot in a cave. Really hate this over priced piece of crap. Definitely returning it. Definitely DON’T BUY IT!

Not bad for the price we paid, but not the greatest quality either.

This CAMERA can't take pictures. Error codes constantly in the Microsoft camera app, and will not save any pictures. I thought maybe it was an issue with the specific camera, so I got another and same problem. I get this is a webcam, and sure the video is good, but how do you make a camera that can't take a photo with the literal only camera app most computers have? How do you not optimize a CAMERA for taking photos? I'm going back to logitech, I'm sorry I gave your brand a chance

Horrible design. The mounting bracket has no tension so when I go to place it on my monitor it unfolds by itself. No brightness, contrast or depth of field control. Should have gone with Logitech like I have done in the past.

Can't use it with my new Macbook Pro. Image is very dark even in bright lit room. Facetime and Zoom unuseable. No software came with camera. Aluratek website accessible except for the FAQ information. Found a reference to a utility after extensive search and the link https://aluratek.com/helpdesk/895100-Webcam-Image-Utility provided was also not accessible. Customer support only open M-F so camera was useless for the weekend
