This is a review of the new Aluratek 4K HD Webcam, Model #AWC4KF. This newcomer to the scene is priced as a mid-range webcam, but offers a high quality 4K experience for less than its Logitech counterpart. It offers 5X Digital Zoom and has a nice sounding Dual Stereo Noise Cancelling Microphones. It has a Sony Image Sensor which offers 8.0 Mega pixel bliss. The thing I like the best and notice the most is how it takes my dark office and brightens it using Low Light Correction. And at the touch of a button, one can go from a wide-angle view to a close up view using the top controls. This item is 100% Plug-N-Play, meaning there is no software download required...it just works effortlessly right out of the box. I am a loyal brand follower and have always used Logitech for webcams and mice, but there's a new player in town that is blowing away its competition...Enter Aluratek!

It is a snap to use this. I installed the lens cover, which I use to keep dust off of the lens. This review has not been persuaded by the free item offered. I can choose the resolution up to my monitor's resolution. And have used it for doctor's appointments and homeowner's meetings. Sound generally works great also. But, you need to keep it away from yours speakers, as sound can cause problems with some networking apps. Video is smooth and perfect. The tripod works, if the legs are extended. This is a winner, which is likely to outlast the 4K standard, and still be very worthy.

So happy with my new Aluratek 4K HD Webcam. The product arrived quickly and I plugged it onto my HP c-port. Since I had a video call that afternoon, I called Aluratek customer service to confirm that I had set the camera properly on my second screen. The friendly rep walked me through the mounting and questions about using the zoom feature. I am on several video calls each day (MS Teams and WebEx) and the camera picture and sound quality are remarkable. I love the ability to perch the camera on either screen and the zoom feature.

Great picture. Great sound. BUT...I want to control the color balance and camera controls manually. For the price I thought I would be able to do that, but there are no manual controls for the camera using it on a MAC. Using it on a laptop screen, the mount works but is not the best design, it just kind of sits on top, very unstable for laptop use. I would rather have the mount clamp on or something to make it more stable if you want to move your laptop around or adjust the screen with the camera just sitting on top.

This Webcam is amazing. it works great and has an amazing picture. IT works as described and I could not be happier. It was easy to plug and play and it easily sits on the top of my monitor. I use it with my desktop. The people I have talked to have said how clear and crisp the picture is and it automatically downgrades the video as necessary for online applications. I had not heard of the brand before but glad I gave the a chance and hope that you will too. I also like the slim profile of it on top of my monitor.

The best part of this webcam is high Picture quality and easy to use install. I am not very tech savovy and I was able to install and Use it. There was no app needed to install or any other charges. I still mply like be the product and would recommend to all my friend.

In looking for an upgrade for my old Microsoft LifeCam, I searched for a replacement and came across this gem. This camera has great quality, is absolutely easy to setup and use, and for me, one of the most impressive features is the digital zoom. The digital zoom button on the top of the camera allows you to zoom in and get the perfect framing for your face. I am looking forward to the improvement in my digital presence this camera will provide! Highly recommended! Also, very easy to mount either using the clip on your monitor, or, using the convenient photo mount, to a tripod!

Really nice camera. Used this to do zoom art lessons with my family. I teach video art lessons at work, and wanted a home setup to connect with family during this quarantine. This camera is really nice.

Initially bought this webcam since all the competitors were sold out - their loss and my gain. Plugged it into my MacBook Pro docking dongle and instantly found, recognized and installed so I was using in less than 5 min. Have had no issues with Zoom or FaceTime meetings. My last webcam had issues adjusting to the varied lighting in my home office but not this one. Even coworkers noticed the clarity of the video and sound. Might not have the name recognition of a Logitech but just as good or better when it come to ease and quality.

My computer cam works very well, but i almost live on Zoom daily for meetings. So i picked up this 4K HD Webcam and I love the clarity of the video, and the audio is amazing. So glad i enhanced my system with this unit. Highly recommend! I love the plug and play ease of this unit. If you are dependent on Zoom meetings, you wont be disappointed with this unit. I waited to give this review until i had some good use out of it, and it delivers every time.

This webcam is based and broke-boy pilled. Best bang for your buck. You do not need any other webcam. This will EASILY last you 5+ years.

Good product. Video quality is good. Having a easily accessible zoom button facilitates when you need to quick change zoom settings. The microphone on MS Teams didn’t work that great and I decided to buy a separate mic for that purpose.

This webcam delivers a better picture than the Logitech C615 webcam I previously used. I especially like the ability to zoom up to 5X. Even while sitting back comfortably in my chair, I can zoom in on my face to make it fill more of the screen. The only thing I've not liked is the operation in low light. Everything is way too dark. I can compensate by using lights while on Zoom, so it's not a big deal for me. I Zoom at least once a week, so I've already given this a good workout.

Excellent webcam - super happy about the price and functionality. Way better resolution and a much greater field of view than my laptop camera. Positive feedback from my coworkers as well on the improvement during our zoom meetings. Lastly, it’s also extremely easy to implement. Just plug and play, and then just double check to make sure your settings are set to use the camera instead of your default settings - mine did it automatically. Was up and running in under 5min.

This camera is very easy to use, provides very high quality video, and the microphones pickup sound very clearly. Webcams are becoming more and more popular again now that COVID19 has pushed many meetings onto programs like Teams and Skype, I wanted to have something that would allow me to have clear video and audio, and this product does that. It is especially wonderful at this price point.

Very clear and great audio, easy set up as you just plug it in and you’re good to go. The only thing I am not enthusiastic about is that the zoom is only controlled by one button and the zoom only goes in one direction. There’s no zoom + and zoom- button, just a zoom button.

Bought this one because my Logitech one died after only a few months. I was a little worried because it's not a known brand, but I'm very impressed by it. The quality is better, the mics are better, and it has more features - like an actual zoom. Very good camera, especially for the price.

Throughout this quarantine, I picked up streaming like properly which is something I've always wanted to do. I'm a competitive gamer and was like well, might as well get started and start streaming, I got nothing to lose. I didn't have a great cam so picked this up along with a mic. Honestly more than happy with the quality that turned out. Gonna be sticking with this for a while
