After some extensive research I was excited to find these digital frames to replace two older ones that didn't survive a freak power outage. They arrived quickly and were super easy to set up. Outside of some tweaking some settings they were pretty much ready to go as soon as they were plugged in. The size is just right and in my case the two look great next to each other. The color and clarity of the photos is superb, cell phone photos look like they were taken on my Nikon. They take both an SD card and a flash drive. I highly recommend that you use a SD card. As you can see by the photo the flash drive sticks out pretty far. I have since replaced mine with a card. If you are looking for a great quality digital frame, this is the one for you

The system seems well built although the menu is a bit clunky. Requires a USB or SD card though I’m not positive if a micro will work. I removed it from the frame it came with and built my own to fit within a nightstand i built

While my wife was in the hospital, I bought this picture frame and showed pictures of her life. It made her a person not just a patient in the bed. It worked, everyone at St Ann hospital took excellent care of her. Thanks staff and Best Buy.

Overall this is a very good picture frame. The quality is adequate and the pictures are very clear. It was easy to setup, its pretty much plug and it was ready. The only thing I don't like about it is each time you turn it off, the slide show goes back to the first picture, it would be nice if you turn it off and turn it back on, that it would continue from where it left off.

Order and delivery process went very well. Picture is of very good quality. The set up process is very easy. Only feature missing is a method of turning the frame on and off without unplugging. Grand kids love to look at family pictures and see themselves as they explain what they are doing in the picture. This is our second picture frame and has become a focal point in our kitchen.

I bought this as a gift and set it up as well. Pictures were very clear and frame was very nice quality. Easy to set up and use. Only thing I would have liked to see was a shuffle button or feature as all the pictures I had put on there played in that same order. Overall good price for what you get.

Good sharp picture. Easy set-up. A random setting would be nice, but otherwise functions just fine--especially for the price.

I bought this for my Mother In Law for Christmas so she would have pictures of the grand babies to look at whenever she wants. The only thing I don’t like, is the pictures show up at all angles (upside down, sideways) and they all were different- there’s no way to fix it apparently? Otherwise, great quality. It works well. I’m happy and so is mother in law.

I went with this frame because it was less expensive than some of the others. I loaded photos to an SD card, and just inserted into the slot on the back. There are different settings you can choose for your photos, or you can choose to just show a clock. The only complaint I have is that the buttons on the back aren’t the easiest to use when navigating through different options. Also, for some reason it wouldn’t always read my SD card, so I had to take it out and put it back in. The photo quality shown though was very good in my opinion.

Worth the spent for it, it was shipped in a timely manner and will make a great Christmas present for my 98 year old mother

I've had an Aluratek digital photo frame before and would still have it, had it not been pulled off the table to the floor (by a grandchild) and broken. This one works perfectly, as it's small and compact. The picture portion is as big as the bigger framed ones. I only wish that the pictures wouldn't sometimes present upside down or sideways. Maybe operator error, but I haven't found a way to fix this. And maybe all digital frames act this way.

Picture quality is awesome and frame looks great. Was easy to set up. Have received a lot of compliments.

Pictures are very clear. Easy to operate. The only complaint that I have is that some of the pictures that I uploaded do not show up on the slide show while viewing it on the digital photo frame, but they show up when I view the zip drive on a computer.

My husband and I purchased the Aluratek - 8" LCD Digital Photo Frame - Black. It is very user friendly and the quality of the pictures looks great. However, I didn't come with a SIM card and it was somewhat difficult to upload pictures onto the SIM card.

I am very happy with this product but was disapointed that I couldn't use it when I opened it. I had to go out to get a memory stick before I could use it. We are now enjoying it very much. I keep it on all the time and its been running well for the couple of weeks that way. I was also happy with the price but do yourself the favor of ordering a memory card with it.
