Purchased this as a cheap solution to make a make a projector have bluetooth. Definitely did not work at first because the projector did not have audio out capabilities. Once I got an HDMI/HDMI audio converter, I plugged this into the audio out and paired up with my speakers. It has the ability to pair to two devices at the same time and also comes with RCA cables if you're plugging direct into that sort of audio port. YAY!!!! Thank you Aluratek and Best Buy!

This item allows me to listen to my Sony 85" with my Sony Bluetooth headphones or my Apple earbuds. Had to figure out right way to plug in as I have a Control4 system that complicates any accessories. Also needed the 3.5mm female to 1/4" male headphone adapter to plug into the receiver. I was told where I bought the tv that I likely would not be able to do this but was able to solve it.

So compact in size and easy to install. I just plugged it into the USB and sound ports, simple install. Plus it paired to my headphones perfectly without any issues.

I couldn't get this to work with my tv, and I tried for about an hour. Maybe I'll try again another time but I couldn't get it to work with my Beats Pill speaker. Oh well, but I'd recommend just buying a sound bar instead.

I purchased this largely in part because a feature on the Aluratek website stated it would turn off 5 minutes after a device was disconnected. This would help prolong battery life!! THERE IS NO AUTO TURNOFF. I emailed the company, providing screen shots and they simply said, must have been a typo error on the website. No apology whatsoever. I will be returning this item.

It’s amazing. Does exactly what I need. I would give it six stars if I could for include BOTH a 3in Micro USB & 3in AUX cord. Really wets my whistle I’ll tell ya.

I bought this product mainly because most of the tv shows I like to watch at home are tabloid talk shows and my wife can't stand them. So a great compromise was to purchase a Bluetooth transmitter so I can watch my favorite shows without her having to hear the chaos. First off, I don't write reviews ever, and yes, this is real! Overall, this is one of the better purchases I had made in long time! This product is fantastic! There is no delay in sound and the quality is suburb. I paired my Bluetooth transmitter with my Beats brand wireless/Bluetooth headphones. It has a long transmit range too. I am able to walk around different rooms in the house with no disruptions. I have not tried using it as a receiver yet, but I'm sure it will be just as great as the transmitter. This product is also really small and lightweight and compact (approx 2 in. tall by 1 & half in. wide and 1/4 inch thick) so it's great for carrying to friends house (supports up to 2 headsets at once) and easy to pair, simply press and hold the power button and it automatically paired! I recommend this product to anyone looking to watch tv or gaming or listen to music as loud as they want from any room, without anyone else having to hear a peep! At a price tag of around $40 bucks, it's definitely worth it!!

The Aluratek Bluetooth transmitter/receiver is a great little device. It has a nice size and appears quite sturdy. It is a bit pricy. But it does serve as both a transmitter and a receiver. I bought it to use primarily as a receiver so I could use it to pair some high-end wired headphones with my bluetooth TV. It was very easy to pair the TV's bluetooth signal to the Aluratek. Then I simply plugged the 3.5mm audio plug from the headphones into the Aluratek, and I was good to go. Sound quality was very good and the volume was exceptional. Other cheaper bluetooth receivers I tried could not boost the volume to a desirable level like the Aluratek can. (I cannot comment on how this device works as a transmitter since I have not tried that function.) My only criticism is that there is a slight learning curve to control the volume. The + and - buttons don't appear to work in a lock-step manner. That is if you push either + or -, the volume doesn't change. You need to hold the button down for a few seconds to institute a volume change. I highly recommend this device. It is definitely worth the money.

Great for on a plane.
So, you get on a plane, and they hand you these little earbuds that don't sound or fit well. But they are better than nothing for their in-flight movies. Meanwhile, your nice BT headphones or Earpod Pros are on your lap. This is the answer. Toss away those wired earbuds and connect this. Use the instructions to pair them with your more excellent listening options, and you'll be ready to go.
One thing to note is that some, not all, planes already have BT. You may not know until you board. Therefore, buyers should beware: You may not even need this.
Because this can be used in reverse with the provided cables, it has more functionality and scalability than most. You can plug this into the back of a stereo, then use your BT phone to stream music to the stereo. Most stereos have an RCA AUX option with either Black and Red or White/Red connectors. This device has all the little adaptors you need to connect.
While not stated clearly, it does have a small built-in battery that is charged by USB.
Last, I strongly suggest reading the included instructions before first use.

Super easy to use. Bose headphones connected to a stereo system with cd player, using the Aluratek wireless transmitter. Charge last a long time and reconnects every time.

I have a stock BMW Professional stereo. All hook ups for the accessories was either with the old iPod plug in (built in) or with the accessory 3.5 input. My new phone has no jack for the 3.5 input, since everything is now Bluetooth. Bought this accessory (Aluratek Bluetooth Audio Receiver / Transmitter with Detached Cable | Bluetooth 5 | 50 ft. Range) from Best Buy. It works great. Just had to find the right device to pair it with. Store had it in stock and was able to pick it up one hour later. Curb side service was fast and efficient. Very easy to play my playlist. If there was a problem, it would have to be the manually pairing every time the car is shutdown.
