The workout machines at my gym allow you to connect earbuds to them. You can listen to any one of several TVs while on a treadmill or stationary bike, etc. During a workout, it can be a problem when the earbud cords bounce around and you end up knocking the cord out. With this transmitter attached where the cord plugs in to the machines and bluetooth earbuds, you aren't tethered to the machine. Much more comfortable to run and keep an eye on a game or program.
The transmitter/receiver is quite compact so it's not burdensome, size wise. I can go at least 3 or 4 workouts (which usually take about an hour) before recharging.

Very impressive little device! This device turns things not equipped with Bluetooth into Bluetooth-ready equipment! It can transmit the signal OR receive it, depending on your choice! If you want to listen to a VCR (or anything with RCA outputs) or an old Walkman (or anything with an earphone jack) on your Bluetooth earphones, plug the included RCA cord or earphone jack in & switch the device to Transmit. If you want to listen to your Smartphone music through your non-Bluetooth equipped speakers, just plug in the included earphone jack into an Aux or input jack and set the device to Receive! It is rechargeable & comes with the plug (standard USB ends) to charge it. It lasts for hours on a single charge. All this in a tiny device for a small amount of money ($30 or so when I got it). This is worth it for anyone who has electronics that are not Bluetooth capable!!

Bought this so my wife wouldn't nag me while watching sports and Youtube on my TV. Was easy to connect yet difficult to pair with my BEATs headphones. Once connected, was able to connect automatically when settings were changed on TV to not use speakers.

This little thing is amazing! High quality digital audio compatible. It saved me from getting a new deck just to have Bluetooth functionality. This product has made my life much easier and more organized. Don't have cords going all over my car anymore. I use it for about 5-10 hours a day, it works even while it's charging. It charges full in 2 hours and lasts about 10 hours per charge. It auto connects to previous remembered devices. It's just perfect! I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could. Actually I will anyway... True star rating: 11 stars!

A bit of hard hearing, so I was looking for a way to get sound to a Bluetooth enabled speaker that I could place near me. Picked this up by chance and it has worked perfectly since day one. It lacks some of the features of a more expensive transmitter, but it has never failed to connect to the multiple devices that I've tried. If the power connection is plugged into a USB power source on the TV, then it will turn on/off with the TV. Otherwise you will need to manually turn it off. Also, you must disable the TV's speakers or you will get an echo effect, which is lag when used. Both of the previous statements are also true with more expensive Bluetooth transmitters. There are volume buttons on the transmitter, but I've never needed them as my Bluetooth speaker has it's own set, For me, it's been install and forget. I tried an $80 model from another company and returned it for issues that I never had with this transmitter.

Great little transmitter for the first time I have been able to use, but the distance from other equipment made it a little cumbersome.

Take TWO; they're small!

I bought TWO Aluratek bluetooth devices to give my iPhone or iPad the ability to transmit to more than one bluetooth reproducer. Since I have two larger bluetooth speakers and a medium-sized speaker by the same manufacturer, I decided to use one Aluratek in transmit mode, connected to the headphone jack of my iPad. I used the other Alurtek in receive mode to drive the two larger speakers wired together using Y-connectors, so that one speaker was pumping out only right-channel information and the other only left-channel information. The smaller speaker was functioning as a pseudo center-channel speaker (carrying both right and left channels). The Aluratek transmitter was successfully paired with both the Aluratek receiver and the center bluetooth speaker. I'm willing to bet that I'll have the best audio in the campground!
Anyway, I am pleased with my purchase and definitely recommend spending the few extra dollars to get the dual-mode model (transmit or receive) rather than a single-mode model (like the unit that is strictly a recever and has a pigtail audio plug instead of an audio jack). Yes, take TWO; they're small!

I was in need of a electronic receiver since my car doesn’t come equipped with such feature. This came up in an online research and i’m Glad I bought it! I got rid of the aux cable they came hanging from my smartphone and the installation is a breeze. The sound quality is remarkably amazing! The knot down size I would say is the battery life, but I have it plug in the electric outlet of my car and it never shuts down. I would recommend to use your own aux cable, since the small aux cable did give me some trouble. (Sound came as mono and not stereo)
I’ll also mention that the range of the unit is long!!
You can use your smartphone playing the music and be far away from the device.

Set it up as a Bluetooth transmitter, have not tried it as a receiver yet. I use it to listen to TV at night not to disturb others. I was able to easily pair two different headphones as advertised. The instructions are very concise, if you follow them exactly as written it pairs very easily. Audio quality is good for tv and battery life is also very good. Very handy device for the money.

It's crazy! I have to link it to my headphones every time I use them. But it connects to a device in my den automatically.
It has great range for it's size. No problems with drop out, good clear audio. Of course there's a delay from tv sound to headphones so I mute the TV.

It suppose to transmitt the audio from your stereo or TV to your Bluetooth Headphones. It works quite well for my purposes! I have a late model TV and a late model LG Bluetooth headphones LG HBS910. It is quite clear, however, there is a problem with the volume! It is turned up all the way, on both the TV and the Headset, the volume is still too low! Also you have to make sure it is plugged in and on and sync with your headphones for it to work! That part makes it a pain to use! However, I use it because late at night-my wife wants to sleep and I can still watch TV in Bed!

I had tried several cheaper alternatives from eBay and Amazon, and always came away disappointed. I decided to try this Aluratek device from Best Buy and I love it! Battery lasts a long time, it works like a charm, is easy to pair, and transmits excellent audio. Very happy with this device!

Our old car doesn't have Bluetooth and our smartphone doesn't have an audio jack. This device solved our problems. Now the music comes directly from Spotify. It works great. We didn't try the transmitter mode, we kept it only as a receiver, as we wanted. We didn't try to use it anywhere else.

I was surprised to see how easy it was to connect the analog output (RCA) of my turn table to bluetooth speaker. With understanding of all the downfalls of converting analog to digital, it was satisfied with the sound. My B&O beosound a1 sounded played the vinyl so well.
One suggestion would be to have a better manual and some improvement in the initial setup. It is difficult to know whether the device is connected/not connected due to single blue indicator serving all purposes.

Setup was quite self explanatory and it has all the controls you'll ever need to work with any external Bluetooth device. Is very small and has a long battery life.. Virtually invisible near my receiver! The red and blue LED on the device always lets you know what it's doing.

I use this to link my phone, other's phones, or laptops to my older home stereo. The sound quality is great, the battery life is quite good. I wish it had an auto off feature and I also wish it was a little more user friendly to pair, but the latter could be due to unfamiliarity with the product still. Social distancing and odd work hours haven't given me much opportunity for use.
