Nice little device. Makes my older iPod work with Bluetooth earbuds. Holds a charge well and pairs easily. I also use it connecting to the headphone output on televisions allowing you to listen to TV at a comfortable volume without disturbing others. In receiver mode, you can connect any corded headphones to the device and not be tethered to the source. I would recommend this device to friends and family.

This product was easy to install and use. All I needed to do was hold the power button to enter pairing mode, and it easily connected to my phone. It came with an RCA-Y cable that I connected to my vintage stereo receiver, effectively making the stereo Bluetooth compatible. My only qualm was the price was a little high at $39.99, but I think this was more of a Best Buy markup.

I bought this to be able to stream music from my phone to a sound bar that doesn't support BlueTooth. While looking for a BlueTooth receiver I found this device that is capable of both receiving and transmitting audio over BlueTooth. I've used it both ways now (streaming music to a sound bar from my phone, and streaming TV audio to BlueTooth headphones) and this was an excellent solution to both problems for just a few dollars more than a BlueTooth receiver would have cost.

Works perfect with my older stereo system! Great quality sound, and easy to use, and quick setup!

This is the best Bluetooth I have. I've had it for some time now and it still works great. I have no idea what the range is, however I can receive at over 80 feet.

I've used infrared wireless headphones for years and have been quite satisfied. After my latest pair broke, I decided to buy bluetooth headphones for my home theatre system. what I did not realize is that unlike wireless infrared headphones, two bluetooth headphones can not listen in on the same audio channel without an additional receiver and transmitter. Hence my Bestbuy purchase of the Aluratek - Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Transmitter. After some tinkering with the settings of both my smart tv and the Aluratek Tran/Rcvr, I was able to wirelessly share the audio signal from my television amongst two pair of bluetooth headphones. Mission accomplished.

This is my third purchase of this item. I use one for a non-bluetooth TV my exercise area; one is used inside a vintage radio that has been gutted and this item installed to play music from my phone; and the third connects to a Yamaha sound mixer to connect phone, iPads, any bluetooth device and play through the mixer sound system. The unit is reliable and has the first one purchased has been operating for 3 years flawlessly, I highly recommend this item and the company. Great product!!

This device clearly is a good transmitter and receiver of audio information. However, there is latency from the audio to video.

I would definitely recommend! I was looking for something that would allow me to listen to my TV's "silently" and with no cords as to not bothering others early in the morning .... I charged it up I hooked it up in transmitter mode I paired it with 3 different devices and connected it to 2 different TV's using output jack and no issues - all played great I did not use it as a receiver as I already have an option for that.

Only posting this in case others want to use this product for more than it was intended. My main reason for purchasing this product was to transmit a Bluetooth signal from a RCA output DVD player to a Bose Bluetooth speaker. It does work but at medium-low volume at best. Turned volume up all the way up on speaker and transmitter. My laptop and iPhone send Bluetooth to my Bose at very loud volumes for comparison. So while the description specifically mentions headphones I assumed it would have the same ability as an iPhone. But the pairing option worked great, transmit distance was fine, just stick to headphones and you will be good. My rating is based on headphone use.

It will convert any 1/4 inch plug to a bluetooth/wireless connection for wireless headphones. On that front, it is a great product with a good price. I tried to use it on a guitar device so I did not have to plug headphones into the output and have a very long, very annoying cord in the way while I played guitar. However, the lag difference on the sounds from my playing made it impossible to use, so for purpose of its use on an interactive device, it is not the product you are looking for. If you are listening to just music, it is great. Has good range too.

Super easy to set up and use, and it saved me at least $500. Allowed me to add Bluetooth capability to my old Bose home theater system, so I can stream music from my phone and computer, AND I can add Bluetooth speakers to my system if I want to, because it can act as a receiver or a source! What’s not to like?!?

Easy to use. Sound quality coming from my speaker is as good as those that came with a built-in bluetooth. Saved a significant amount of money buying this device and not discarding my old speaker. Would highly recommend.

Works well on an airplane. Easy to set up. Sound okay for a movie. I would buy again.

Love this! I can use my phone and play Pandora in my car now since my car is old and doesn't have bluetooth. I also use it on my Bose Radio...the Bose alarm clock is older but has a jack for Auxillary so I can play my Pandora through the Bose speaker and amazing how it sounds!

More than I expected! Works like a charm on any audio source...TV, Phone, Stereo. I pair it with my Bose Bluetooth headphones so I can watch TV after everyone's in bed. Works great in hotel rooms too!

I’m impressed with functionality of this item, it is very easy to hook up Bluetooth headphones or speakers. I also like that I can transmit to my TV from my laptop. It eliminates a lot of wires

Works great for me. I got it so I could wear my AirPods Pro to hear the tv better. Getting old sucks. The range is fine in the room but you aren’t going to walk all over the house and hear clearly. I didn’t expect them to do that tough. I would definitely recommend them.
