Initially this was kinda glitchy. The instructions say NOT to update the software but I did anyways. Now it works great. One or twice it stopped working but I think it was due to EM interference from power lines. I just unplugged it and plugged it back in then it worked great again. Overall I am very pleased with this.

When I use the alratek with my bagpipe chanter and the shirt included cord, it woks fine. When I used it with a longer cord, there was considerable latency between the time I played a note and the time I heard the note through my speakers. Conclusion, it works for me as long as I don’t mind it dangling from my electronic chanter.

Works just as described. Needed a way to get better sound for my record player, and this does the trick without me having to go buy all new wired speakers. Definitely recommend

sound quality was very good. pairing was simple and easy. Could have earned another star if range was a little farther. used it at a wedding, and had to sit fairly close to unit to stay connected.

the bluetooth audio transmitter works great. the tv can be connected to wireless speaker on the other side of the room. great quality and great sound

A lot of the info said I would get about 4 hours run time. I went on a road trip and streamed music from my phone over bluetooth the entire trip. It lasted almost the entire trip! It ran nonstop for 7 hours and 42 minutes. I also use it in the house for heaphones with my television. I get around 6 hours of time that way. The only flaw I have found is having to constantly pair it to the same thing over and over. It's not hard, but it is a inconvenience.

We bought this so our Vizio TV could transmit audio through Bluetooth to our speaker system. It works great. The only minor inconvience the box has shut down a few times after the TV was turned off overnight. But this has only happened about 3 times in the last few months. I am not sure what length of time leads to the receiver shutting down. Most nights we shut the TV off though and it works fine the next day. The fix is simple though, just hold the power button on the Aluratek until the blue light comes on and then the speakers pair up automatically again.

I wanted to send audio via bluetooth from my Tivo Roamio to my various bluetooth speakers and this unit performed admirably. Simple to follow instructions and relatively inexpensive

This unit is very well designed and easy to use. Very compact. I did return the unit because the range was not what I needed It is supposed to go 30-35ft. Which is about what I needed but that include going through 2 walls and it would not quite do that.

This item allows me to use my Bluetooth headphones with my TV that isn’t Bluetooth capable. It has good range. It transmits throughout my apartment. I am very happy with this purchase! I have two of them, one for each TV.

Transmitter performs as expected. Only issue I faced is getting the connection to stay on between Transmitter and speakers. Each time the TV was turned off, the connection between the Transmitter and Speakers was disconnected. Need to sync each time. Not sure if it is a transmitter issue or a speaker issue. Double check on your end before purchasing that both components are compatible. If they are, then Product works well and as advertised.

Looking for a low latency compatible device to mitigate lip sync issues when watching tv/movie this device worked perfectly! I tested it as a transmitter with a compatible low latency headphones and compatible bluetooth speaker and it worked like a dream! Again, same test as above except as a receiver. Both modes worked like a dream! I did NOT experience any garbled audio or audio cutting in and out. I definitely recommend! Remember, to take advantage of low latency, you MUST use a low latency compatible headphones/speaker(s).

Product works great and is easy to use. I would recommend this product if you have an older system that needs an upgrade

Product is functional and working. Does it's job and no issues or breakage. Internally the set up was a bit of a hassle getting it to pair properly with my skull candy bluetooth wireless earbuds. Once that obstacle was overcome works great. I used this to allow using the said wireless earbuds to watch tv without having the sound on disturbing others.

Absolutely perfect! I've been wanting to get a bt receiver for my 5.1 gaming stereo and this was perfect literally can go easily 30-40 feet away and didn't lose any signal no buffering just steady music.

Great value and sound. Range is about as advertised. I am using with two Bluetooth headphones and not experiencing any lag from the TV. it was a little tricky learning how to pair with Bose headphones but not too bad once you figure it out.

This is the best unit for connecting Bluetooth to a wired system. Easy pairing and great distance. I connect to my workstation using audio output.

Nice small unit that works well but i wish the volume would go louder.

This has been a great addition for those that are looking to add aux for your older gen cars with and old aux port. Makes music listening and connecting easy. Good for casual use or those that are in and out of the car a lot, it has a pretty solid range for a little box.
