The quality of the camera is not bad compared to its price

Really enjoying this camera! It was truly effortless to set-up on my home desktop, as my monitor did not come with a camera or microphone, so needed one for my virtual meetings now a regular part of life. Additionally purchased another one for my grandson to do his online classes as the smaller screen on his chromebook was so small would get headaches after a few hours of class-time. Now he has a huge 24" monitor to view his teacher & class materials!! All possible with the Aluratek webcam!! Also the camera does mount on the top of monitor easily, however his teachers requested a complete view of students sitting position, so placed bit lower as result.

I am using this for a podcast and I am so happy with it! It was easy to connect and works great!

Camera is Good, clear and wide but microphone in the camera is terrible. sound like a robot and too much noise.

It's 2020 you'd think "oh, maybe i can get a pretty good deal on a webcam". You see this for $60 a little pricey i would say just for a camera that's 1080p. Well I got it early with no warning of delivery in progress so there's that. I opened it up only to find it in two pieces, yeah two pieces. The camera broke off the stand. I can't even adjust it anymore. And to add salt to the wounds the lens cap to cover the camera doesn't even fit properly. I'm going to return this and hopefully get a refund or a replacement. This was by far the worst experience i've had with best buy.

Works good for the price. focus is good. cord was pretty long also.

It’s easy to use, but the camera swivel joint had loosened very quickly. Not the camera doesn’t stay in one direction, it rotates while in use. The focus lens is worst.

great picture quality and easy to take meetings with good audio quality

I love my camera it has green screens the audio and vidual are HD it is worth the money, affordable and easy to use you plug and set and you position the camera quickly I have set up in minutes to do live video chat no problems at all it also has the caption features if your in lecture you can read and not mis one pronoun visto on or word during a lecture or that type of forum.

Ordered this Nov 16 finally received this Nov 29 (2021). Worked well out of the box but no link to any software which used to allow my now dead Logitech webcam to pan and zoom. This webcam did work well for several Zoom calls with a decent mike and decent hd resolution. There was some barrel distortion at the right and left margins and the focus is manual. Did sit nicely on the 1080 Insignia 24" TV that I'm using for a monitor and I liked that the base was threaded for use on a tripod (1/4" coarse thread). Was quite disappointed that the webcam died a few days ago just prior to (anther) Zoom call. I tred everything that I could think of as well as looking at a lot of forums and You tube videos but nothing works and I'm not going to try a Win registry dive or undoing Win 10 updates as was suggested by some sources. A repurposed Wyze camera fills in but it's not a good substitute. Windows "says" that the device is working properly but its camera app reports a connection problem. Of COURSE there was a problem getting tech support on Christmas Eve and I never got a call back. That's understandable but not really comforting. Will see what traanspires.

the webcam works fine as long as not using with zoom. There is some kind of conflict between zoom and my video card...so though bought this webcam to solve problem with zoom, it turned out not to be the root cause of the problem. The webcam worked well on all other applications. good sound and video quality for the $

Nice clear picture and easy to connect. Those are the main criteria. The cap on the lens is small and hard to handle. Ditto focus.

I needed a webcam so that I could attend virtual courses from my home and this webcam did the job perfectly. Looks very slick, hangs on the top edge of my monitor nicely, and good picture quality. Very easy to set up, as the item was plug and play. Good price for the product, since it includes the microphone. Works well for a business or school setting!

This webcam is great for the price. It has very nice quality. The microphone is okay. Overall good purchase.

We have been using the Alturatek HD webcam for a couple weeks now. Compared to our laptop camera this is a huge improvement. Super easy to just plug and go. Our computer had no problems recognizing the webcam. We are quite satisfied. The only improvement I would make or suggest is to make the manual focus easier. You screw the lense left or right to focus and while it works it does feel like this could break eventually. Also we received a lense cover but it does not fit the webcam that we purchased. Over all this is an easy plug and go webcam and is a huge improvement from stock computer webcams.

I bought this for my son to attend his school Zoom classes, so he wouldn't have to use his iPad camera all the time. I figured this would allow him more flexibility in using his PC and iPad together to do his schoolwork, without having to worry about one of them being his camera too. For the price, the camera is plenty good. Camera is plug and play, so in about 60 secs it was up and running on my sons Windows 10 PC. Video quality is very good, but does not have white balance correction, so in bright light, it can get a bit harsh. Low light video is very nice as well. It does offer HDR mode and overall brightness correction, but that's all you get for fine tuning. It has great positioning in that you can rotate 360 degrees and pan up and down, side to side, to frame yourself just right. I do like that it has a tripod mount, however it's not very deep, so depending on your specific mount, the camera may or may not sit tight. I have one desktop stand with a longer screw, and the camera bobbles around, so I had to use a different stand with a shorter screw to get the camera to fit securely on the mount. Microphone is also nice, not overly great but for Zoom classes it gets the job done.

Just installed the webcam and it was simple plug and play. Resolution is great and works perfectly for my Zoom and Teams video conferences. Performs as advertised
