I ran into no problems getting started with using the camera or the mic. However the quality is not great. The quality of the mic isn't the best, it's very quiet so it requires settings in the computer to boost the volume, which results in staticky sounds. The webcam works well for the most part, but the picture does get a bit grainy wherever light hits.
