I use it as a transmitter for TV listening. It has long distance signal range and it's volume amplification is strong and clear. Also it can be used while connected to a USB charger which is a big advantage for continuous use. It's a good deal.

I have this hooked up to my "older" Panasonic plasma Tv and it allows me to connect to my Bose Bluetooth headphones seamlessly with no fuss. I have not experienced any issues with this device since I have installed it weeks ago.

This works great on my Visio smart TV. This receiver has made it possible for me to pair my JBL headphones with my TV in my kitchen & not disturb my husbands viewing in the living room.

I got a pair of headsets for my parents who are both hard of hearing. Of course you have to buy this Bluetooth transmitter but all (3) items cost me $160 but the joy in my parents being able to hear the dialogue is priceless!

Its been years since I tried using a Bluetooth adapter. I think it was for an ancient blackberry work phone so I could have wireless headphones. It only worked intermittently, and I went back to wired headset. This one hits it out of the park. It uses Bluetooth 5.0, and the performance with other recent Bluetooth 5.0 devices like a Sony Xperia XZ2 smartphone, is outstanding. This thing does just about anything you need done with a Bluetooth adapter. Want to output sound from your tv/stereo/game console via optical or audio jacks (headphone/rca) to *TWO* Bluetooth headsets at the same time? This does that. Can now watch movies easily or play games with significant other without fear of waking sleeping children. Alternatively synch it with two separate Bluetooth speakers for good music coverage in a large room. The lag with modern Bluetooth devices is very minimal. Want to stream music from computer/smartphone/tablet to a traditional stereo setup or any speaker with optical or headphone/rca input? This does that easily. Easy to use, easy to synch, has a built in lith-ion battery for up to 13 hours aways from power. Uses a micro usb for 5v power for charging, can be left in standby mode when plugged into power for easy reconnection of paired headsets. Can use the usb port on most modern TVs to power device if wished. I tried out the range with a bluetooth 5.0 sending device and this bluetooth 5.0 adapter in receiver mode. I was able to still hear the music going to the car stereo over 100 feet away, this was line of sight with no obstacles inbetween phone and receiver. I didn't test farther. Walls and obstacles will drastically reduce this range down to the tens of feet, I'm sure.

It works and I'm able to set up two headphones. I have it connected to the tv but the sound is not in sync. So it looks like the tv is lip syncing. which throws off watching all together. I'll probably have to try another transmitter

I can think of various times where I wanted Bluetooth built into a device but came away disappointed. Well, Aluratek has basically designed a device to bring my desires to life with the ABC53F. The ABC53F comes in a neat, little package. There’s nothing special about it, and it is compact to say the least. Inside, you get everything you need to fully connect the device to any audio source. 1/8th inch stereo audio cable, 1/8th inch female to stereo RCA Y-cable, optical cable, and power adapter with micro-USB cable. It’s very flexible, but a little ‘old school’ in some ways. I think most devices will be accommodated, even newer ones. I believe this is target toward the older generation devices – newer devices have Bluetooth built in, in most cases. This thing also has a built-in battery. That really makes it portable. It becomes useful away from power sources, or in remote locations. Battery life is admirable – I listened to it for about 2 hours with no indication of a need for charge. Nice. I decided to hook up the ABC53F in my bedroom. I have quite a few sets of Bluetooth headphones, and watching some late-night television without disturbing the wife is quite the thing! I must admit, pairing was a concern, but It took all of 15-20 seconds to get my headphones paired. Once paired, the sound was crystal clear. Range was very good, but you aren’t getting 300 feet with walls in play. I will say that it offers excellent range though – some of the best I’ve seen in a Bluetooth device. During listening, I found the signal to be strong and consistent, producing very good sound. This is almost a must have device – it’s that useful and that good. The only thing I wish was available is the ability to allow optical pass through. That way, I can connect the Aluratek and another optical source without needing 2 optical out ports on the source device. That’s really just a nice to have, in most cases. This thing is very flexible, performs well, and is portable (battery operable). It’s can’t miss.
