Trying to use this in my Corolla Hatchback was a little frustrating. The unit always booted up and connected right away but more often than not my volume control wouldn’t work from the steering wheel or the head unit itself (factory). I even reset my phone thinking that was the issue. I’d have to unplug it and put it back in 3-4 times before I got the functionality back. Id rather deal with a cable than this. Returned.

I’m very pleased with how easy this was to install and it connects very time without any issues. I have a USB port on the dash that I plug it into and it comes with a 3M tape that I used to attach it. It is out of the way. If you want a way to automatically start Apple Car Play without having to use a cord this is the way. I highly recommend it.

Works great. Connected it with my Honda 2020 hd-v. always connects automatically with my iPhone via CarPlay. Would recommend this to anyone looking to have simple wireless connection to open system.

95% of the tome i hop in my vehicle and it works without problems connecting to my phone within 5-10 seconds. Have experienced some problems where apple maps lags way behind but only a couple times in a month and it wasnt really a problem in those i stances. Google maps though never lagged. Overall the product works very well and i would recommend. Price may be a little high for what it does but it just works.

Have been pleased with Aluratek products in the past and thought I should give the CarPlay adapter a try. Extremely please with the ease of installation and also how it well it operated. Not having to go wired is boon!

I've been looking for a way to get my phone connected to the car wirelessly for CarPlay functionality. I looked at the early options, but they were too expensive and from unknown brands. I'm glad that I found this one from Aluratek. It works great!

The whole reason for me buying this was because I upgraded my phone to the 15 pro and they changed the charging cords to usbc so I didn't want to keep switching the cords out in my car for me to use my carplay because my bf still had the 13 which took lightening so I bought this and I love it my phone connects within seconds all I need is my bluetooth and wifi on and my phone connects I am able to have carplay wirlessly.

Bought two— will be buying three (for all vehicles owned)All Carplay features work very well wirelessly, zero lag when used with Pioneer aftermarket deck. Had ONE isolated issue, once— which resolved after unplugging, reconnecting USB connector— good reason to have ready access to connector (glovebox works). Overall, impressive upgrade.

Lags a little bit but work fine and connects automatically when you turn on your car.

Great product, super quick connection to Apple CarPlay seconds within turning on your vehicle. Definitely recommend if your looking to get rid of extra cables.
