Not compatible with CarPlay on 2024 toyota 4runner

Overheated and stopped working within three weeks. Returned it for refund. Got stuck on the screen shown in photo.

It only works when it wants to & thats like never sadly

Waste of money, go with another brand. Great when it works which is rarely.

I have had it 10 months and now it barly wants to work. Its always had some lag to but nothing to major but then these past few days it causes my while wcreen in the car to freeze and even makes my steering wheel controls not work. Now when i send texts using car place its so slow sending the message and then it freezes up on the screen. Also has been causing audio issues to where the audio gets stuck at a higher volume and wven though i turn the volume up or down it doesnt change it so i have to unplug it and plug it back in. Now i am going to have to soend more money to buy something else and i wish it had a warranty on it through beat buy but unfortunately it does not so now im out the money.

First day worked perfect, easy to connect to. The unit did smell like electronics as it got pretty warm with notmal use. After that it started taking a few seconds to connect to, once connected it gad many issues. Volume wouldnt move from 0, screen was just black. Rebooting the device seemed to fix it for the next connection, but quickly returned to glitch mode. Lucky i returned immediately. I would not recommend this product. Sad cause its a great idea.

It seemed fine when I first plugged it in. Turns out it was not compatible with my car. I was not able to control that volume or skip a song on Apple Music.

I purchased this item in Jan, 2024. Now it's July 2024. It's not working. It connects and brings up the CarPlay screen on my car. But that's it. Everything freezes. It started slowly, maybe once every 5 or 6 drives. Then now, it just freezes. Unplugging and plugging does not resolve the issue. It was so annoying and dangerous at the same time when I was following the navigation map. You can't fix it because the phone is still connected to this thing. So, in order for your navigation or map app to show the map on your phone, you have to turn off bluetooth connection and unplug this item. Or you phone shows only the steps on the map app. The customer service was quick to respond but no help. Their last word was to take it back to the retailer and replace it. Well, 6 months later it's impossible. 1 year warranty means nothing. I'm giving 1 star because it did work ok for 6 months.

Plugged it in work for 5 mins wouldnt let me control anything. Wiped my whole radio out Worst purchase ever!!!!!!!

This unit is trash! Disconnects all the time! Have to unplug it multiple times for it to even work!! Not mention that company makes you pay for shipping to return their defective piece of crap! Their customer service also sucks! They are very rude and didn’t even bother helping me out with a replacement ! Save your self the frustration and don’t buy this!! Complete trash!!

unfortunately all the bad reviews on this product are accurate. it has a horrible connection, constantly lags and requires you turn your cars bluetooth off which does not 100% work. for how much it costs it should not be this inconsistent

I got this with the idea of using it in my Buick, but it wouldn't connect. Very disappointed because the web site said it would work. I ended up returning it.

Failed after a year of use. Always glitched. Always had to unplug to reset it to sync to my CarPlay. No issues connecting to the cord. Bad buy.

Writing this as I am hard resetting my cars entertainment system. This device is perfect if you love it when your carplay disconnects and you have to wait until you either reset your phone or restart your car to get it to work again. Almost every time I get into my car it connect then goes in and out until it registers to my car as a hard reset to my entertainment system where I then have to restart the car. The Usb A cable does not even work as an alternative so the Usb C adapter is a very fragile and wobbly piece that doesnt give a solid connection so overall i would 1000% return this if I still had the box. 0/10 Waste of money

This item is not compatible with a Tesla. We never even opened the box after digging deeper on support. I thought it would have been well worth the money, but unfortunately it didn't work out for us.

I returned this it didn’t work. I try to use this on my Tesla three and got no results and wasted four hours trying to get it to work. Your documentation is ambiguous that comes with the install procedures.P

Donor buy this item it destroyed my car bought this for my 2020 accord an had to take it to Honda to get repaired a system updated. Worst purchase of my life

Did not work for my X5 2004. I have a aftermarket radio and it still did not work.

Radio gets stuck on install screen. SHould be easy plug and play, but cannot use.

This stopped working after a year. Not sure if Apple updates effected it but no longer connected after 7 months. Re-installed and would work sometimes.
