Not worth the money i spent
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it works, it’s good. The rest of the time it stinks. It will not automatically connect when I get in the car. Every once in a while, it will otherwise I have to mess with it to try and get it to connect. Then it says that it is connected to via Bluetooth, but the Apple CarPlay won’t show up however I get music. My car already has Bluetooth. I specifically purchased this for the CarPlay aspect. Don’t waste your your time or money.

Concept is great but the lag is unbearable
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product and idea but it’s not perfected enough for me to suggest to someone. If you plan on using it to listen to music only, it might be a little more useful but the lag that comes along with using any other Apple Carplay features makes it unusable! Especially for the price of the device. Maybe the next revision will fix this issue.

Don’t Buy find another option
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this a year ago and it just stopped working. I paid essentially $100 for it which I thought was way more than It was worth, but maybe it would even out with the chords I am going through. Nope. Just a waste. Worked great when it worked. It did disconnect every now an again, but connected back within a few seconds.

Good but map didn’t work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small and compact. Setup experience was good. Unfortunately, it got stuck while using google maps. I use latest iphone and all software updates were current. Ended up returning due to map issues.

2018 Chevy 1500 wireless CarPlay
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s ok but super slow to get it to connect every time you use it. It can be laggy at times and if you get out of the car with your phone and it disconnects you will have to restart everything to get it working again. The set up is not very well show in the instructions. After trying for 2 weeks I went back to using a usb cable because of all the issues

Sold wrong thing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to Best Buy to find help Connecting my phone to my 2019 Highlander that doesnt have Apple play. I explained to the associate if something existed that would throw my google map from my iPhone onto my car screen. She said as long as I have blue tooth capabilities yes this would connect my phone with map viewing on my Highlander. Well no It doesn’t do that. So I was sold something I had to return and no help buying what I need. I don’t know if it exists.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup and usability (when it works) is easy and straight forward. Some might not like the fixed cord on the adaptor but it wasn't an issue for me, and overall it is compact and it looks aren't bad. I'm retuning mine though because there are times that it doesn't work, you need to restart the phone, car, or the adapter. I could get past that because it seems to be an issue with all of the adapters on the market. My biggest complaint is call quality issue, there doesn't seem to be a delay which is great but more than 50% of the time when on a call, the call cut out over and over again (like hearing every other word). This seems to impact those in the vehicle and not those on the other line (though I have had a couple of people complain about the quality on their end). When calling get wonky, I've had to pickup the phone and hold it to my ear until the call is over to avoid the issue. Clearly that isn't a good idea and is a deal breaker.,, for me. If you don't care about the phone performance, it IS worth giving it a shot. My Set-up: 2021 RAM 1500 W/ UCONNECT4 12" SCREEN, IPHONE 14 LATEST IOS.

Mhhhhh..
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It worked with a Boss apple play stereo to a point. There was a noticeable few seconds delay to change songs and volume. It also turned the screen completely green haze twice. I took it back after 2 days, it doesn't take but a second to plug in phone.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You must have a car Apple play in order to use this device so basically will switch instead of cable to wireless

It works but!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best I can say is it works, it’s very laggy when you change the channels, or volume or advance the songs using steering wheel controls

Too many issues. Too long to start.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok when it works. Pioneer AVIC-8100 head unit. Sometimes it takes 30-60 seconds after car stars to work. Other times it doesn’t work at all like it freezes the head unit. The times it works the steering wheel controls don’t work. I had high hopes for this but overall I’ve just unplugged it and use wired Apple car play.

Cool Idea, Poor Construction
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for 2017 Kia Optima with OEM wired CarPlay. This would not maintain a Bluetooth connection with my iphone 15 pro and never displayed carplay through the screen. Spent 30 minutes on the phone with Aluratek Tech support for them to say "well, I guess it doesnt work with your car."
