This unit is pretty good compared to another brand of that I owned where the front panel stopped working. Some people mention the fact that sometimes you have to open the door and close it in order to operate it. I believe this is not a defect but a safety measure. If you put something in the oven and don’t start to cook within a few minutes, you have to open and close the door as if you are putting something in at the moment.

I like it very much, is much more potent than my previous counter model and still has the push button opening with no handle that I was used to. This makes the Microwave oven stick out much less form the cabinets and helps me avoid hitting my head with the handle while cooking. The light is set too far back, to give good illuminaton on the range but otherwise is excellent. The reheat modes needs some getting used to.

Very nice microwave with a lot of features. The look is simple, and not having a handle is a big plus for the overall look I was going for. The buttons are easy to press, and it cooks quietly.

The Amana 1.6 cu.ft. over the Range microwave oven looks great, and works great. The installation was a little tricky, but it fit into the space we provided for it. It buzzes when a dish is ready to eat. It heats up leftovers perfectly. The black on stainless steel looks and fits with our color scheme.

This is an awesome microwave and yes I would recommend this microwave to all of my friends.

Bought this model to replace an old Whirlpool microwave that gave out. I love it that it does not have a branding on it anywhere and the stainless steel makes it seem like it should cost more. The microwave works great and heats up food very quickly. It is also a good standard size and the lighting and circulation works great as well.

Work great, looks nice. Loving the push button instead of the handle.
