This was just installed today and just heated up some hot water for coffee. Very nice for the price. So I really can’t give you a full review until I used it more. I like it so far. I will change it down the road if it don’t hold up very long.

We are very happy with this microwave. It is very big inside, heats food very quickly, is quiet and the light and fan over the range are great! The light has 2 options, low and high as does the fan. It comes an inch or so closer to our range but so far it is not a problem.

Looks nice and seems to work as it should. Light is in the back and the vent is in the front which seems backwards.
The mounting bracket is totally different from the Amana Microwave of 20 years ago so plan on drilling all new holes. Odd that it doesn't have the word "Amana" anywhere on the outside of the unit but, I guess the MIC part of their product line can't afford a decal. Odd too, that I had to order it because the store doesn't keep one in stock so, had to wait two weeks for it.

After searching for microwaves in various price levels, I finally decided to forgo the frills and go with the cheap one because the negative reviews of the higher-end models spooked me. I figured that I'll be ok with losing $200 rather than $500 if I wasn't happy with the purchase. To my delight, the microwave has been amazing. The fit and finish of the product are excellent; it is so easy to use, that the instructions were o my around the size of a postcard. It is intuitive. Just press the time and go! But there are also alternate methods to cook specific items by selecting the appropriate button.

Very, very nice low priced microwave!
It’s not as powerful and missing a few gestures that our old one had, but for the price that’s very understandable.( I got it on sale.)
I was going to give it 5 stars but if it wasn’t on sale it would be only 4 star so I gave it a review based on that.

It is fair priced, easy to operate like the appearance over the range.

Good value for the price. I wanted a microwave to match my LG stove. I did not buy an LG because the cheaper models do not have a timer. I love the sleek design of the Amana with no handle. The push button opener seems to be holding up well. The volume of the alert beeps is too loud, the light is not bright enough, and it is loud when running because the vent fan runs automatically when cooking. It serves its purpose though and I am not spending $600 on a microwave.

This microwave doesn’t have a bunch of fancy features however it is sleek in design, has a few instant buttons, ie, 30 seconds, defrost, popcorn In addition to others and functions flawlessly. I am selling my house next year and needed a replacement but did not want to spend a large amount for a product I will not get to use. I wanted something of quality and nice design, it fits well in its space. My husband installed easily.

Great value microwave. It has all the expected features. And it cooks well. One minor issue is the turntable is smallish relative to the capacity, so larger dishes hit the edge of the turntable.

Had it for a week, very happy. It looks great and serves our need - which is basically to heat things up. We really don't cook with it. So as a basic microwave, it's great. The exhaust fan (which we vented through the roof) has 2 speeds. The low speed is quiet. The high speed make a little more noise but much less than the Sharp we replaced. I took great care following the mounting directions and using the template. Glad I did. When it came time to "hang" the appliance it hung perfectly and the top mounting screws fell right in place.

This microwave looks great in my kitchen. Because it doesn't have a handle, just a push-button to open it, there is nothing about it to clash with other appliances. And since Amana is delightfully humble, there isn't a brand name to advertise that all my appliances aren't from the same company---a huge plus in my book! Also, I love that when the timer dings, it isn't real obnoxious, and reminder dings are quieter and unannoying (unlike my previous Frigidaire).

This was a replacement for a GE that went bad in our new to us house. So far it has been great. It is quiet, fan and light are great. Only drawback is there are no quickstart buttons (1 minute, 2 minute etc). It does have some presets for cooking potatoes, popcorn, leftovers etc). The buttons are a little stiff. I like that the turntable is recessed more into the bottom.
