Not meant to be refrigerator in garage

Shortly afterward, we had a few weeks of sub freezing weather. All of the milk was frozen and vegetable rotten Ed, despite setting that to the lowest temperature. It just past the returnable period. So we got the appliance company to come out as it was under warranty. They stated that while some refrigerators need additional “garage kit” to ensure refrigerator in garage would function properly in extreme weather, this model does not have one and is not meant to be in garage. So it would freeze in cold weather and melt in hot weather. There is no such mentioning when I made the purchase!!

temperature ranges from a minimum of 55°F (13°C) to a maximum
of 110°F (43°C). The preferred room temperature range for
optimum performance, which reduces electricity usage and
provides superior cooling, is between 60°F (15°C) and 90°F
(32°C). It is recommended that you do not install the refrigerator

No extras like ice/water on the door and we did not get ice maker. The half shelf in the freezer does not make it easy to keep things organized.

It has the same dimensions as the one I replaced but it seems to be designed to provide more room inside. Delivery and set up was excellent.

The seal around the freezer door is not sealed in place leaving frost and ice around the freezer door compartments and inside the freezer. I contacted Tech and they were going to charge me to come out, but they gave me the Whirlpool phone number because it is under warranty. Whirlpool number was busy day and night that I had to leave my number for a call back. It is almost 90 days later and I am paying for a junk fridge. Not happy at all.

The Amana was to be able to fit into the space in our motorcoach left by the Samsung. I made an error in measuring depth. The Amana would not fit through the door and will be returned to you. Your staff has been most accommodating and professional. I will continue to recommend Best Buy. The staff I have worked with in the Bluffton SC store are Taylor and David...both excellent.

At first I was somewhat pleased (even though the shelves have everything falling over), but now the rubber around the top and bottom has separated from the doors. Freezer has ice around and under the rubber parts. It freezes, then start defrosting due to the rubber not sticking and keeping the cold. I would not recommend this refrigerator.

We use for over flow from fridge in the house. There is so much room in the fridge that I will not only have room for food, but ample room for various beverages. The freezer is very roomy and the way they have the vents, you don’t lose space.
