My wife and I are very satisfied with this machine. She used it easily form the beginning and could not believe hos much better it washed the clothes than the one we had before it.

It’s honestly been about 10 years since we bought a new washer. Didn’t want to go to far in on these fancy overpriced washers so we chose this one. It’s very quiet even during the spin cycle and leaves the clothes clean and smelling great. Would highly recommend for someone who just wants what a washer is supposed to do and wash clothes. Nothing fancy.

This washer is simple and attractive. It's ease of use was great. My only problem was it was not installed, as advertised. It was merely left in my driveway. There is absolutely nothing I don't like about the washer, but I was disappointed by the delivery.

Purchased a Amana Washer for a great price. I just need a basic washer without all the Bells and whistles. For the price can't beat it.

I tried using fabric softener and the spin isn't hard enough to use my downy ball. However, it does clean clothes well. I just have to purchase HE pods with fabric softener included. Buyer be prepared to have to re-purchase laundry products.

Easy settings, works very well, does a great job cleaning, very quiet for a washing machine..

So far so good. It's a good washing machine with a nice deep inside so you can put lots of bulky items in like your sheets and blankets. No complaints so far but I do like an old-fashioned top-loading washing machine. The price was good and if it lasts me another 13 years that's great. Service delivery was excellent. Here's to happy washing!

Cheapest unit available that performs perfectly for its level. Not fancy with different settings but clothes are nice and clean! :)

Purchased Amana top loading washer in part based upon an average 4.5 rating and excellent value. Online purchase was seamless and text communications regarding delivery was top notch. Item was delivered as expected and old unit hauled away at a nominal fee. So far so good. The settings were intuitive. Initiated a wash selecting heavy wash with 6 towels. Post filling and upon start of wash my wife cried out the machine is making a strange noise. I rushed upstairs to hear a grinding noise. I pressed the ‘cancel’ button. The water drained. I pulled the towels out thinking perhaps these caused the agitator to jam. I replaced the towels with a midsized load of clothes. Again the grinding noise. Immediately I pressed the cancel button, allowed the water to drain, and contacted Best Buy customer service. I explained the concern and was transferred to technical service. I am on the phone now waiting for a representative. Total wait time thus far? Thirty minutes. Anticipated wait time? One and half hours. Really? Now that begs the question. Why is the wait time so long? Hmmm. Disappointed with this purchase.

This product has been one of the best I have purchased yet. It thoroughly washes my clothes, in a timely manner. I have no issues at all and highly recommend this product.

I am never buying an agitator type washing machine again if this is what I can expect. My previous washer was a front load and I never had a problem with damage to my clothes. I've done two loads of laundry so far and the first load was a blanket that had 2 large holes in it after one wash. The second load I had to dig out one sock from underneath the agitator, This is not a great beginning. I've had it for 2 days. Other reviewers have said their clothes come out wet, that is not the case with mine. It is not loud and since it is properly leveled and is on anti-vibration foot pads, it is not vibrating.

The washer is very dependable. It's settings are easy to follow. You can wash between a very small load to a big load of clothes (because of the water fill function sensor) and saves water. The washer is quiet (doesn't make much noise). It's definitely an upgrade from my last washer (which I had for over 20 years)!

This washer is very quiet and seems to be very efficient. Because of the price I wasn't sure it would clean my clothes well but it does. I like that it has the option to fill water based on the amount of clothes you put in so you're less likely to waste water. Great for apartments and condos.

My old washer had come to it’s end after many years of heavy use and needed replacing. I shopped around online and found this Amana washer at a great price. I intentionally avoid the tech laden and in my opinion overpriced fancy models as I believe they will be less reliable than a solidly built basic model. I value reliability over amenities. This Amana is built in America and has very good reviews from others who actually use it. I noticed upon first use it is much more efficient than my other washer was. It cleans better and faster too. It also takes less detergent to do a load of laundry which also saves you money. I had it delivered by Best Buy and I hooked it up myself in about 30 minutes and have been using it since without issue.Best Buy also hauled off my old washer for me. I am very pleased with this washer as well as Best Buy’s excellent service. Now I have to get the matching Dryer!

This Amana washer has the most usable mode selection of every washer we've ever had while still being SIMPLE. I don't know that the sort of gentle action of the agitator would fit the needs of a family with kids who grind in the dirt (THAT'S THEIR JOB!) but it works for our 70 year old's needs. We wash a couple of loads a day and are VERY PLEASED with this Amana washer. And YES! We would recommend it AND Best Buy.
