This washer is perfect if you don't want a lot of bells and whistles! It cleans clothes very well though of course it is not as easy on them as most front loads.

Bought this washer for my 85 year old mother. Ease of use and simple controls was the selling point. Cleans to her satisfaction so well that she recommended it to one of her elderly friends who also purchased one.

I have only used it a couple of times so far. Works well. Size is great especially for the price. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the description stated it had a fabric softener dispenser, however it does not.

This is a great basic washer for a very low price. Works great! Clothes are very clean. I bought this to replace a very large and expensive machine that had quit. Would definitely purchase again. Forget the more expensive washers. My clothes are clean that's all that matters.

Purchased this for my mother because she had an AMANA that was 20 + years old. The price was right too. We ended up sending it back and upgrading to LG. It was more expensive but worth spending a little more to get a better product.

This washer is SO easy to operate with different wash cycles for all your laundry needs.My laundry is clean and smells amazing EVERY wash.This was a GREAT investment and it was priced nice!!!!

This is a basic washer, and as such, it does what its supposed to do. However it takes forever seemingly to fill, much slower than my previous washer. For the money its OK

This a great no frills washer. I had been using a used washer I bought for next top nothing since since 2012, and it finally gave up. I needed a washer, and decided I was going to go with a new one this time around. Honestly with the auto sensing feature for water level, this will save you money in the long run. It's perfect for a small family or couple. I really think this washer is underrated, given the price and features built in. And quiet? I live in an older home with the washer connection in the kitchen and I can barely hear it unless I am in the same room. I am very pleased so far, and I hope this lasts for years as an Amana appliance (made by Whirlpool) should. It's also nice that's it's American made. Thats' pretty rare these days.

I read a few bad reviews before purchasing but didn't think they really held water, so I dove in and bought it anyway. It hasn't failed me yet, plus it's surprisingly quiet for a washer. I'd recommend it.

Bought this to replace my mom's 37 year old washer that finally gave out. This is a great machine.

Wanted a basic machine w/out bells and whistles which I don't use anyway. Researched online and this seemed to be it, according to the reviews. Didn't realize there is a sensor which gauges the amount of water on this basic Amana model (instock) at Best Buy and am a little nervous about it malfunctioning, but time will tell. It's doing a good job so far.

Don't waste your money on fancy overpriced Appliances with bells and whistles, they do not clean or dry as well as a good old fashioned washer dryer set. I'm so glad I got rid of my overpriced fancy set and went back to a faster better set!!!!!

I've had my Amana washer for about a month and I love it. It is a great washer for the price. I love the sensing technology to detect the clothing level because it allows me to save money on water. It cleans well and is fairly quiet.

This washer isn't like an old school washer. Mine is an HE and I'm sure that stands for conserve water. The water level is determined by auto sensing and I'm pretty sure that means conserve water too. It has a deep water wash setting, but I think that also means conserve water. It will do a decent sized load, but you can't overload it because of the water level. It took a couple loads of clothes and jackets to get used to it. It does do a great job washing the clothes and spinning the water out.

Great for the basics and someone who doesnt need a fancy washer.
