These are great for the price...however, they will have some issues. Our leaks, but we were able to fix it and again for the price, you can't beat this.

This unit makes a lot of strange noises and I'm not sure what it's doing. Sometimes, if I need to add something to a load and I unlock the lid, I have to start the cycle from the beginning. Other times it'll allow me to continue the wash cycle from where it was at. As long as you don't interupt the cycle it does it's job so be sure to add everything before you start the cycle. It uses more water than the new front load units but it's not as expensive to buy.

The service people were overly friendly before the scheduled time and very helpful!

Overall I'm pleased with this machine. Overloading will make it difficult to fully clean items. There's only one feature that I don't like. Previous washers that I've owned would allow you to load the soap and fill up the water before loading the clothes. This machine won't let you do that as the soap and clothes have to be loaded because once you put the lid down and hit start the lid locks.

This washer does a very good job washing sheet, and queen size comforter. Price is good as well!

I absolutely hate this washing machine. Everyday I wish it breaks down so I can get another. I guess you get what you paid for and I bought a cheap washing machine. The cycles take forever even on a short wash. It takes up to 5 minutes for it to unlock at times. It washes and washes but still the clothes are not as clean as they should be. I don’t think the agitator really moves because as long as the wash takes if it was working correctly the clothes would have to be clean. It’s been this way since day one but when I told my husband he said “give it a chance”. Well here we are 1 1/2 years later and the only time I cud’s is when I have to use this darn washer. Clean clothes are too important to buy a cheap washer. Spend a little more and get something that actually cleans the clothes and doesn’t make you lose your religion every time you need to was a load of clothes. I think my clothes would be just as clean if I threw them into the bathtub with some detergent and I would probably wring them out drier then this washer does too. Wish I could give this washer a minus 100 points (and that would still be generous)

This machine does not have a lot of unnecessary Features that tend to cause problems later on. The capacity is Excellent for a 2 or 3 person household. Cleans well and with plenty of cycle options.

The automatic fabric softener was not included with the washing machine. That was not apparent at the time of purchase. We had to order an extra part after the purchase. It should have been included!

I like that I have the option to use the loading sensing or the deep fill feature. I have heard terrible stories about using the sensing option on other machines, but my clothes came out very clean. I have pets, and my clothes smelled and looked fresh and clean. I am very impressed with these two Amana products.

Bought it at best buy like 2 months ago. So far it has been working great, I have no complains and it is real quiet. We filled up the washer with lots of clothes and it had no problem in the cycle.

Lasted five years. Did a great job until it stopped working. We tried repairing it and nothing worked. Loved it while it lasted.

Wanted a no frills easy to use washer and this fit the bill. Very quiet and seems pretty sturdy at this point. No complaints.

This washer is awesome. The only negative is it does not have a fabric softener dispenser. But, it’s performance cleaning makes up for this negative.

Decided to go back to basic and purchase this washer. It has an agitator drum so the clothes comes out extra clean and bright. It is a bit louder then your front loaders but I have it by my dinning room and it's not disturbing at all! I would highły recommend it

A really strong and sturdy washer! I love the old school washer more than these new high tech ones! This is defiantly sturdy and durable!!

I have just started using this washer. Have been impressed with how quiet it is.

Good machine. Very basic. A little disappointed that I can't start the water into the tub then pour the soap in. You can only start the machine with the lid closed. Don't like adding soap directly on top of the clothes but other than that, so far so good. Great staff & delivery at the Spanish Fort/Malbis, AL location

Purchased an Amana washer for a house I'm renting. Very reasonable price. Did an excellent job on getting my clothes clean. The installation went smoothly. The team delivered on time Explained the many features available on this model.
