Bought this as an open box buy. Great price for an entry level washer. Decent features and was easy to hook up and use.

I wanted a no frills agitator top loading under 500 washer and that is exactly what this is. It does a great job . Only negative is there is not an option to chose water level--but it seems to not be an issue when I have checked--not too much or too little. Would recommend. Noise level is moderate I would say, quieter than our last older model.

Easy to use. I like simplicity. I don’t want all the bells and whistles. It does the job nicely and efficiently. Pairs well with the Amanda dryer.

Washer works good and does what it is supposed to. Good Washer For small Family. As we are only 2 it does what we want and what we need it to do.

When our 20 something year old Matyag finally bit the bullet about three weeks ago my wife and I scrambled for a replacement. She's owned a complicated front loader in the past and didn't think it was worth the money she had paid for it so we looked for another top loader. This machine had very good revues and we loved the price so we jumped Now that three weeks (and many loads) have gone by we can say this washer is WONDERFUL!! Gets clothes super clean, spins remarkably well (most of the clothes come out almost dry) and for the people that wrote reviews complaining it was noisy?? all I can figure is that they're using it for a pillow as we can't even hear ours run down in the basement. So glad we picked this item

Works great it is quiet. Close enough to a "plain Jane" washer. With a few extra features its a washer that doesn't do a bunch of tricks, but I just want clothes washed and thats what I get.... Thank you....

Excellent small washing machine for my needs. I only have a small space and this washing machine fits perfectly and does good job.

The washer has everything you need to get your clothes clean without all the fancy stuff. It's quiet and efficient and it has a huge capacity. Love it!

We have small children and run loads every couple of days so we don’t really need massive capacity. I also don’t feel the need to pay $1,000 for pretty looking front loaders. This machine washes fine and my only knock is that normal cycle takes a lot longer than our old washer, but that’s not a big deal. I’d give it 4.5 stars if that were an option.

There's 2 things that would make this perfect... 1. fabric softener dispenser built in 2. Clear lid. It's very quiet and works very well with autosensing

When my old washer died and I needed a new one, I looked around and found this Amana High Efficiency washing machine. It was on sale and so I bought it, along with Geek Squad insurance, delivery and installation, and new hoses (a sensible requirement). After using it for a few months, I'm impressed at how effective it is at getting clothes clean and not wasting water...you see, the washing machine determines how much water the load needs; there are no "level" settings on the device, just the cycle selector and start button. Is it effective? It has removed stains I thought were permanent! It uses less water and gets my clothing cleaner than my old washer did. Am I happy with this washing machine? Heck yes!

This is A great no-frills washing machine. The only disappointment was it did not have anywhere to put fabric softener. It is a great washer for the price.

Works great. Had a front loader for a long time so wasn't completely sure, but I'm very happy. I like the different cycles and that I can select deep water and extra rinse if I want, no matter what is in there. Proved very helpful with some mud soaked towels. I must tell you that I'm short with short arms and sometimes have to use a reacher/grabber to get articles that are flat in the very bottom. :) Also it makes sounds that I haven't heard for 25+ years so it took a few cycles to get used to it.

Easy to install. Does not have a rapid/ quick wash cycle. Can not let items soak by lifting lid before rinse cycle. The lid locks once cycle begins.

Everything seems to be working fine. Clothes get clean, no leaks, etc. I’ve only had it less than a month, so it would be good to check back in a few years. It’s obviously not a super fancy machine, just basic, but gets the job done & I was trying to keep the price low. It does seem to scare my dog. Not sure why. She’s been around other washing machines. This isn’t particularly loud. Something about it makes her want to hide, though. Anyone else experience this?
