Great for an apartment. Its not an expensive or high end model but it works well for my family for the price. The only thing that I do not like is that the lid closes, and I cant open the lid without stopping the washer if I want to add detergent or softener. Overall good washer for a single mom on a low budget.

Very happy with this washing machine. It survived 4 moves, 5 years and thousands of loads of laundry and its still going! Great machine, excellent value.

Purchased same time as the dryer. Hesitant about the locked lid feature as I’ve heard other owners complain about this feature, however, has not been a problem. Machine uses HE detergent and had to give away my regular detergent. It is quiet, cleans my laundry satisfactorily, and uses less water than older similar Kenmore model. It did get off balance once when I washed a heavy woven bathroom rug even though I tried to balance the machine out with other laundry. Just make sure the machine is balanced evenly so you don’t have the same problem (wash two rugs).

I was afraid the first time I used this machine because I am not good with technical things but it worked like a champ and so easy. Instructions are good and easy to figure out and I works so well. I am glad my old one broke. Also the price of this washer is unbeatable.

This machine is great for the price ,they delivered it and set it it up.. We have had for a few weeks now and it works great no problems. It does seem to take a hour to to a load. It does a great job.

We bought both the washer and dryer together. There isn't anything fancy about them, but they work well and get the job done! Not too noisy, gets the clothes clean, capacity is as expected. I have no complaints about the washer at all.

This washer was better than expected. I have had zero issues and it has been easy to use. I was worried because the price was so low but the washer has exceeded all expectations.

We bought this unit to replace an old washer being used by a single family member in a small condo and it is perfect. Simple to use, quiet, efficient and does a great job with small loads.

Sturdy washer that takes a good size load of clothes, cleans well & cycle is quiet and reasonably quick. Only concern is sometimes a piece of clothing can get caught under the spindle. Removes easily but possibility of tearing if you yank it out. For the price? Great value.

I went looking for a "plain Jane" washer because the fancy expensive set we bought a year ago was nothing but a pain and my clothes didn't come out clean. This machine is quiet, has a large enough capacity to wash a king quilt (not tried a comforter yet) without a balance issue, is quiet enough to have a have a conversation while it is running, plus has a load sensing so is economical. It does exactly what I have asked of it. I do not dread doing laundry and my clothes are clean.

We needed our washer replaced and this model was on sale at the time. After the team installed it, the washer has been wonderful! Our clothes seem to be getting a bit cleaner than our last washer. The machine itself is super easy to use and overall fairly quiet!

Great price, works flawlessly, easy to use. Fits my large comforter with room for sheets as well. Be sure you grab some hoses (with gaskets) as the washer does not come with any, but it does say that in the description.

I am so happy with my Amana washing machine. It is easy to use and does a great job. Excellent value for the money.

This was the closest model I could get to my last one. With all the doggie laundry I do in my kennel business, washers never last me more than two years, so I couldn't spend too much. I like the bulky setting since my blankets always upset the balance of my other washers, but not this one. They come out more wet, but super clean. The only down side is that it stops filling if I have to add something after the washer is started, but it is only a minor convience.

I was looking for a simple, efficient washer and this is it. And, it’s inexpensive. It works every time. It is quiet. I love it. Wasted 7 years on a Whirlpool Cabrio that started breaking after 3 and new parts/labor were more expensive than the washer was worth. I couldn’t be happier with this Amana.

Bought it August 2021 and this is first time it needs repairs December 2023. Worked liked a charm up until now definitely gonna repair it instead of getting something new.

I tried several of the autosensing load washers and have heard nothing but complaints about them from friends and family. This washer is great. It uses the amount of water you decide. It spins out the excess water well. Great size, runs quiet, washes well. The only downside is it does take a bit longer to wash than my previous washers but the drying time is quicker because it spins out so well so it even out in the long run.

Washes good. Nice size. However, this product requires the use of HE Laundry detergent and requires for the user to stand by to inject the fabric softener during the rinse cycle, something that I thought would I be able to do at the beginning of the washing cycle when disbursing the detergent and the bleach. If this part of the process was done when this product was designed, it could be rated higher.
