More like old school washers that fill up with alot of water.. just dont let best buy deliver.. their driver and helper were Azzholes to my wife.. and did not place in room they were supposed to go. Nor did the washer or dryer come with connections..

Great dryer

Happy, overall

We replaced a 20-year-old washer with this one and it's taking a while to get used to the auto-sensing water levels vs. the ability to manually adjust the water level to where you want it. Other than that, it does a good job.

Simple is much better

I was in Wisconsin when I saw this and the matching dryer on sale. By the time I got into Best Buy the sale was over. I found that Home Depot had it on sale and Best Buy matched the price. I had Best Buy deliver and install it along with the dryer and a refrigerator. Everything went in without a problem. To check the installation they ran the washer. I later found the manual and a detergent sample in bag inside the washer. Even with this glitch I gave the guys a great rating. I found this to be the most inexpensive washer out there. I've had high end, high efficiency units before. I found that my biking clothes. golf shirts, and other fine material clothing were getting lots of snags and ruined by the high efficiency units. I haven't had any such problems with this washer. I suspect it is due to the lower spin speed. If I spend more on gas to dry my clothes I see this as cheaper then buying new items to wear. I am happy with this washer.

Its' simple to use and has all the features that I need, and none that I don't. After negative experiences with front load washers, in the past, I'm happy to get back to a top loader, again. The tub is large. The machine is very quiet and pretty, as well.
