Very reliable does a good job cleaning simple design easy to operate

I'm very pleased i decided to get this washer machine. Not only was this a great deal, but there's hardly any noise factor & the machine is efficient, only taking 20-25 minutes to wash.

This washer does an excellent job. If you want a reasonably priced washing machine that really does a great job, get this one. Not a lot of frills but out performs other higher priced washers by other brands. We know because we have had them.

I renovated a small bedroom/office to turn it into a laundry room. This washer fit into a closet with room to spare. It operates so quietly I have to check to make sure it's running.

I like this machine because it doesn't have a circuit board. I didn't want the possible problem of costly repairs.I wanted a machine that was old school. This machine is a nice blend between old school and newer machines. It has an agitator and is a HE machine. It weighs the clothes and determines the proper amount of water. It always fills the machine with enough water to cover the clothes. The drum size is very large. Amana is made by Whirlpool in America so that's another plus. It does a good job of getting my clothes clean. I must mention that HE LAUNDRY DETERGENT IS A BIG SCAM. I was prepared to pay more money for HE detergent but I discovered in tiny print on my current laundry detergents that it says HE compatible. So take out your reading glasses and look at your labels because you're most likely already using HE compatible detergent. I went online to my favorite detergent's website and it said to use half of the amount that I would regularly use.

I looked at more expensive machines, but finally decided upon this machine for a much more reasonable price. It is perfect for my laundry room. Fits great with my existing dryer, has plenty of bells and whistles. I love the auto sensing water levels. And, most importantly, it is quiet. The delivery was super fast (2 days), the installation people were very nice and did a great job. And it is MADE IN THE USA!

I have had this washer for a month now and have had no issues so far. It was priced in my budget, easy to use and the cycle was faster by 20 minutes then the old Kenmore 700 series I had. Very quiet and the clothes come out clean!

This is the first washer I've ever purchased. It is easy to use and does a great job washing clothes. It can be a little loud with bulky items, but I don't mind. It was also inexpensive, so I believe it was a great value.

I replaced my old washer with this one. No problem so far. It's OK with regular daily use for household of 2 people.

I purchased this for my daughter for her first home along with the dryer. She is happy with the way it cleans and says that it's an awesome combo for the price.

I’m glad I made this purchase. Quiet and easy to operate. My in store purchase was simple and delivery was professional and expedient. I really like the auto fill and lid lock features. This machine can handle large and small loads alike and cleans very well. This was a very wise purchase.

Read some good and bad reviews but in the end my wife and I decided to go with this item for the price and the size for what we needed. It's quite and easy to hook up if you do it yourself. The only issue I've seen so far is that when it's completely done with cycle it keeps door locked and looks like it's still working with the indication of the lights but will be done. All I have to do is lift the door a little and let back down and then it'll complete and unlock the door

Just took a job in Ohio and needed washer for my apartment. This Amana is priced great and is a very easy to use machine. I have had no issues with it cleaning my cloths. Perfect for apartment living.

Pros: Good Price, Compact, Very Quite and Easy to Operate Cons: a little slow

The washer does a really great job at washing clothes. The only reason I took a star away is because I can’t really adjust the water level. “Auto sensing” means it will ALWAYS fill up. Even when you have a small load of laundry… it always fills up to the top. No way to adjust.

I moved and had to get new appliances. I refuse to spend a lot of money on something to wash clothes. I am a single guy and I only do a couple loads of laundry a week and all my clothes are easy care jeans and t-shirts lol. This washer does the job just fine. Glad I got this so I could spend more on the TV lol. Free delivery and set-up was definitely an incentive to buy as well.

It’s a basic washer that gets the job done. It cost significantly less then the other brands, it doesn’t have all the computer crap that is known to break after only a few years, it’s extremely quiet and it’s actually made in America! Can you believe that! In other words if you need a washer that gets the job done, doesn’t require an arm and leg to purchase and will probably last a good long while, then get this one.

We have had our Amana 3.5 cu. ft. washer for only 3 days, but so far it seems to work well. We purchased it on August 29, and it was delivered September 23-- a bit long to wait, but that is another matter that is not relevant to this review. We like that this is from an American company. It is a no-frills machine, which is expected for a machine that was just under $500. We also purchased the stainless-steel fill hose ($29), and are happy with that option. So far, we have done 5 loads, and the clothes have come out clean and almost dry after the fast final spin. This is our first HE washer, so it has taken some adjusting to it. All wash cycles have only cold water rinses, and I seem to have little control over the amount of water used for a wash--the choices are "auto sensing" and "deep water wash". That being said, it does have 8 cycles to choose from , and I have only tried 3 so far. While the water filling the tub seems a little slow and there doesn't seem to be any vigorous agitation, compared to what we experienced with our 20-year-old Kenmore that finally gave out on us, the clothes and towels have come out clean and fresh. The instructions advise about using only an HE detergent, using an accurate {lesser) amount of detergent, and cleaning the washer with affresh on a regular basis to keep it smelling fresh. The young men who delivered and installed the washer provided excellent service and were quick, efficient, pleasant, and professional. They demonstrated the spin cycle with its slightly bumpy rumble to assure us that it was normal. We are pleased so far, and hope to have this machine for many years to come.

Needed a new one didn't want to spend a lot of money. Got this one on sale very nice and quiet and gets the job done . I did buy the dryer that matches as well love them both.
