Incessant whine/hum that will not stop! Tried moving it to different location in room. Readjusted outflow duct. Tried stacking pillows to no avail. Do not buy this AC. Will not buy anything with Amana label again!
Will have to see if they will honor warranty for a defective unit.

Great price, but extremely noisy. Cools area around unit very well, but doesn't reach to the outer parameters of area to be cooled. The noise is way too loud for inside room. Very annoying after a while.

Ordered two. Had two delivered. Two returned. Neither one of them worked. As soon as we plugged in and turned on the symbol saying the it was needing to be drained...attempted to empty it (had been on for maybe 2 minutes) and there was nothing in it. Reset multiple times and it would never go away. Garbage.
