Our old dryer unexpectedly broke. Didn’t have a large budget at that time when we found this one. We didn’t need all the bells and whistle’s we just needed something that did the job and this one fit the bill perfectly. Even a decent size load of towels is done in one cycle. This dryer has been used at least 4 to 5 days a week for about a month now and has had no issues at all.

I am so pleased with my Amana dryer. I absolutely love it. I love the Energy Preferred setting and how it saves on extra drying time that is not needed. The opening of the door is not my favorite or a good idea in my opinion but I can live with it.

I had a washer and dryer installed and the dryer was faulty and the installers blamed it on my electrical in my house. They replaced it and I haven’t had anymore problems. They just put me through unnecessary drama. The team complained the entire time that they were doing the install they couldn’t connect the water hose for example which there was no reason why they couldn’t and they did do it. I moved the original faulty dryer from the wall to obtain the serial # and the dryer sparked at me from the back of the units power plug connections. Come to find the power cord was smashed flat prior to hook up. The original unit stopped heating because the power cord wasn’t grounded and the spark was the result. I’m glad it stopped working otherwise my house could of burned down due to the faulty install. The team insisted my electrical required a update that’s why the original dryer stopped working after 3 uses and they stated they’d end up having to continuously come out here to replace the dryer when they brought the replacement. So far not true the relplacment is working fine. They took no ownership for the faulty install. The dryer door was also switched to open from the opposite side and would t close properly I mentioned to them and they said ya that’s what happens when we convert from the original door closure. I had to bring it to thier attention and they acted like that’s how it goes and no big deal. I had recent had surgery and was on crutches dealing with this poor unprofessional install. This is not how I expected it to go at all. I won’t be using the Best Buy warranty due to this horrible experience I will be gong. direct to the manufacture. I’m very fearful to make any further purchases that require
the Geek Squad install the entire experience was unacceptable by far. I have photos of the door and the damaged power cord and would like to file a official complaint for the poor customer service. Too add the dryer required 24 amps to run I have 30 amp connection and a update power box with switches not fuses. Please get back to me in reagards Thank you

This is a great and cheap dryer. It does exactly what I need. It is quiet and dries my clothes well.
