After my old roper gave up the ghost (couldn't fix it), we ordered this. It's been working perfectly fine since. I think it takes a bit longer to completely dry my clothes however it keeps tumbling after the dry cycle is done to prevent wrinkles which is nice. Note that the drum is plastic instead of metal like my last one. I'm hoping that won't be an issue in the long run.

Needed a dryer. We didn’t wanted to spend a lot of $$ so I did some research, found the Amana 6.5/11 cycle electric dryer. Nothing out of the ordinary, it does as it should.....it dries clothes. There are more high-priced electric dryer out there but if you need a above average dryer at a reasonable price, go with the Amana 6.5/11 cycle electric dryer.

Recently bought a new home and needed to purchase a Dryer. After renting for the past 10 years I had absolutely no idea what was what. I looked online and at different retail stores and once again the knowledge of the Best Buy staff educated me and listened to what my needs were. The dryer works well and can hold a good bit of things. I have zero complaints with it! Perfect budget dryer. I have had mine for over 2 years now with 0 issues.

I needed a dryer that would fit in our small laundry space. This was pretty much the only one that fit and was in our budget. It does a great job drying our clothes. The only complaint I have is when it was delivered, it had a scratch on it but the delivery team let us know before excepting the dryer.

I bought the exact same dryer in 2012 and lasted me 11 years. Purchased again because it totally does what it’s supposed to do and worth every dollar.

I absolutely love my new dryer. It runs so quiet, you almost don't know it is on. The guys that delivered it were very professional and courteous. They took all the trash with them and cleaned up after themselves. Very prompt. Took almost no time at all to install and remove the old one.

Wow, this dryer will actually dry everything on time and without burning or leaving anything damp. The large barrel will allow you to dry comforters, heavy cottons, and shrink wool. Also, this dryer is gentle on delicates or no heat cycles for using up energy for no purpose!
