Wish I’d paid more attention before buying

I don’t know where I went wrong, because I love the washer I bought at the same time as this dryer, but this dryer is terrible. And now it’s too late to return it so I’m just swallowing the loss. The door doesn’t shut unless you ram it in there. I am not exaggerating, it’s awful and truly takes a few tries. That alone is dissatisfying, but the lint trap is what really makes this dryer awful. Maybe I was just used to an older dryer where the lint trap pulled up from the bottom of the door facing, but on this one it’s located at the top right, so you pull it up and lint goes flying everywhere, mostly on top of the dryer but all around it as well. Bringing a small garbage can up there doesn’t help, you really have no chance of not getting the lint all over the place. So you’ll be spending a few minutes cleaning off the top of the dryer every time. Sure it basically functions okay. No buzzer either, by the way, but I’m even okay with that. But these two factors mean I would recommend against buying this appliance.
