Purchased a $100 digital gift card over 24hrs ago and still no code. I decided to reach out to Best Buy chat. Felipe told me that if I call 1-888-237-8289, they would contact the vendor directly on my behalf while on the phone with me. He also provided me with a reference number so I didn’t have to go over everything again with them. I called the number provided, which said estimated wait time was 21 min. At the 18 min mark, the call disconnected. So I reached back out to the chat and voiced my frustration. Roselyn assured me the only way to resolve the issue is to call that number. 16 min later, I was connected to a woman who basically told me that the information provided by Felipe and Roselyn is not correct and the only thing I can do is wait another 24 hours and if I don’t get the digital code by then, they could just cancel my order. So basically I paid $100 for a card where the money was taken immediately and still no $100 digital gift card. Over an hour total trying to chase down the digital code and I am told I just have to wait another 24 hours and hope it gets delivered. It’s not worth the hassle and I’ll never do this again from Best Buy. I do not have an Amazon account and this was a gift so I thought this would be the most convenient way. Turns out, I was wrong!
