This tablet is light & easy to hold. Great for reading or streaming.

I love my Fire Tablet. It's large and easy to handle. It holds a charge for a long time and the color is bright. I will probably get one for my grand daughter. I know she would live it When I ordered it I just did drive pick up. And got a year of Geek service to cover it.

Just to be fair - before you purchase this, you should be aware that Amazon has their own user interface baked into this tablet. It is not your normal average Android G**gle Chrome interface. That being said, please also note that the lock screens have ads baked in. These ads will vary and do change from time to time. One has to pay $15 to Amazon in order to remove that "feature". Now to be honest - these tablets are very usable for my children. Nowadays, even 2-yo's are familiar with how to navigate most tablet interfaces; however, mine are older but still normally use it - YTKids, Y*()7()83, and oh, Huetoob (I don't want to really type the name.) I've installed G**gle on it as you might find the instructions on most social media (YT) instructables or articles. They even use it for distance learning - make sure you also install G-Suite after installing the G**gle environment because some school districts need it. Its quick enough and has pleanty of space to store all of their home made videos and photos. It's a solid performer. My only gripe is that the screen isn't prefectly flat. I installed a third-party glass screen saver on one of them and their was a huge gap/bubble. Not so much a bubble but an indentation on the screen where the screen protector couldn't adhere to. Not so much of a problem as it can't be seen when the screen is active. I don't believe the touch feature is affected as a result of this either. Advisement - you will probably have to wipe and restore back to factory once a year to clear all of the mess collected throughout the year. Just make sure you backup the vids and photos which can be copied to (if not already) on the microSD card. This does have a microSD card slot so you can expand the storage should you need.

I purchased this for my granddaughter's 8th birthday. The one I purchased for her years ago which was the one for children finally quit charging and working. She absolutely loved this tablet mainly because it is bigger and holds more learning apps. I purchased one for myself over a year ago and it works great. I have it in my kitchen to use as a timer, watch Netflix while I'm cooking, play music and able to pull up my recipes. It is so handy to have around. I can't think of a reason why everyone should not have one. My iPad comes in handy for certain things but it is easier to move around the fire table since I am more accustomed to android.

I purchased Amazon Fire HD 10.1 Tablet. I love it, it serves my purpose. I use it mostly for watching movies, reading and shopping on Amazon. Love playing games. Its fast and I have no problems with it. This is my 4th Kindle. Compared to the very expensive Apple tablet it works just as well in my opinion.

The plus sides of this product is that the image is sharp, and the battery has some staying power. It is a bit on the heavy side. And, like so many Amazon products, is does not play well with public library apps. But I am still pleased with it.

This Kindle makes reading all my books so easy. It also has all of the features of a tablet. The screen is large and makes reading and watching so easy.

Very nice. Easy to use.. Battery last a couple days. The 10 inch is replacing my old 8 inch. I also purchased a new protective cover that allows me to prop it up for viewing of typing.

An excellent 10" tablet. It's a little on the heavy side, good for use on a table, or chair, but in bed you'll get tired of it really fast. Be sure to get the case for it, you will drop it easily, and the kids will too. Still a great buy.

This is my third Fire tablet and they have each and everyone been excellent for both reading and web surfing, e-mail, and on and on. This most current iteration of the Fire tablet is certainly quicker and has a larger viewing surface. It is mostly a bonus, but, if you are like me and love to read in bed, a caveat of warning. As you become tired and feel your eyes starting to close, be sure, and put the tablet down before you have it wobble and smack you right in your nose. Not a pleasant way to come to full wakefulness.

Really great dupe for an iPad. I've had 2 different iPads and this gives it a run for it's money. The battery live is great and it's pretty fast as well

Love it, its fast and bigger in size and holds more so very pleased. Got a cover for it also I have been reading books since I was a teen and I still have a book going now everyday.

Love the Amazon fire tablet works well and great tablet for the price. I have another Amazon fire tablet that I have had for four years, still works but I wanted a bigger tablet

Easier to read and hugely improved battery life! Much better memory, this one should provide me with good reading for a very long time!

I love my tablet and provides everything I need. The big screen is nice with the EBook a great new feature for me. Use this for receipe while cooking. Excellent tool for the price.

This Kindle Fire HD is replacing a IPad mini 3 that finally died after 5 years. I was hesitant to purchase a android device because all of our phones and desktop are Apple but I didn’t really want to spend three times the cost of the Kindle for another IPad. I have been very pleased with this tablet so far. The wide screen and the high resolution makes movies look great. The processor is fast and the speakers are actually decent enough that I don’t feel the need to Bluetooth my Bose speaker. Bottom line is that you can’t go wrong with this device for $189 bucks.

Bought for wife. She had older model. Says this one has more memory. Graphics are much better. Processor is faster. Charger input upgraded. She likes it.

This is a great machine! I bought mine, then my husband wanted one so this review is for his! He loved it! He’s reading books, he’s watching movies, he’s playing games, he’s listening to books on Audible. He is reading newspapers online. He loves this! The picture is crisp, the Alexa voice is crystal clear as we check on the weather of other important things with her, This is a terrific device and what a value too!!!

Amazon is making nice improvements to the fire. It is easy to use and is great if you want a low price low end tablet. This device is a bit heavy compared to an iPad.

These new tablets are much improved over the previous models and our kids are really enjoying the image quality and battery life.
