I bought this so mostly for the quick wake up function. You don't need to hit the power button at the bottom of your kindle you just open the cover and it wakes up. It feels sturdy and hasn't gotten torn in any way. Looks good, feels good, and works for what it is.

Ended up getting this one after trying another from Amazon direct from a different vendor. The other started to come apart at 31 days from purchase. This one is 4x more but it has been much more durable. I am happy with my purchase. I just wish best buy carried the other colours.

I like the protection the case provides, as well as the feature of putting my kindle in sleep mode when not in use. It's been no problem to return to the last page I was on when opening the front cover.

Bought as a gift for my daughter. She really likes it, but man these covers are expensive. And this wasn’t even the premium one. It’s twenty dollars more! Not Best Buy’s fault, I know it’s Amazon but just had to say it. Nice case though.

I really wanted to like this, but couldn't get past the little bit of extra bulk and weight that it gave my Kindle while reading. I returned it, and got a nice case I could slide my Kindle into to protect it while in transit, etc. I much prefer reading on a caseless Kindle.

This is a great case for the kindle. It fits perfectly and does not slip or slide. The leather feels very fake though because it is hard and plasticy. The major downside is the cost. The case costs half the prize of a kindle.

Adds nice light protective barrier. Easy to hold. Kindle detects the magnet when you open, turning on your device at the same time. If you see this on sale or have a coupon, its worth it at $30.

Although $40 is on the high price for this cover it does look and feel high end. I especially like how opening the cover triggers the kindle reader to boot up. The cover doesnt feel cheap or fragile at all so I am happy with this purchase.

I had been trying to find the correct cover for my Kindle, this is a perfect fit and at the price was a great buy, the Best Buy sales rep was very helpful and courteous ! I was looking for a normal cover but, the leather was a plus

Love this leather cover for the Paperwhite Kindle! Fits snug all around it. And the front cover is like the front page of a book. It stays shut without the annoying band like the old one.

Really like it...mainly got it to protect the screen but it's got a good feel...plus it automagically puts the kindle in sleep mode somehow when you close the screen cover, i think because of the magnet that keeps it held shut?

There is a balance between the protection a case provides and the bulk it adds to a device. This case is fairly thin, the Paperwhite snapping into a molded plastic tray easily and securely. Bonded to the plastic is the leather veneer backing and cover. While I trust it is actually leather, the outside has the feel of textured plastic, while the inside of the cover flap is suede. The cover is firm, although what material resides within the outer layers can only be guessed unless I were to damage the product to satisfy curiosity. I would like to think the Paperwhite screen is protected, but I have had two previous Kindle screens fail despite no visible physical damage and being better protected than what this case provides, so I cannot claim much faith. Overall, the case seems quite adequate, but unworthy of the premium cost.

Love the texture of the leather and the weight of the cover. It’s perfect for my needs. Thin, chic, yet professional looking. Slightly pricey but you pay for what you get.

Excellent protection for the Kindle Paperwhite. This case is fantastic, and offers both wonderful protection and tremendous grip for a non-slip hold.

What’s there to say about a kindle case? It looks nice, wasn’t too expensive and I’ve used it daily for 7 months with no signs of wear.

I love the leather cover, it looks good and keeps my kindle protected. I can wipe it off if something falls on it and the beautiful color does not come off.

This is a really nice case. Seems very well made and durable. Expected to last a long time. This is my second time buying a case like this for a different kindle
